Friends,

I got a 4 tune reverse horn from eBay.in. Did not had time to fix it myself or go to electrician to fix it.

Finally today I got some time, so I removed the old reverse horn and fixed the new one.

Since it is going to be behind rear bumper near rear left wheel, I had covered it with polythene covers [Earlier was also had same covering]. Yes sound is little bit reduced. But as some member said now it is not irritating one.

Hi Sethu, pls fit the horn firmly, it is going to bang the bumper. It may fall down too, the wire will not be able to hold the weight for long also it won't look good if left like this.

Was the earlier one hanging ? I guess no. Make sure you tie it or fix it some where firmly.

Yes. earlier one also was like this only. That is the reason I left it as it is. I will be going for my 3rd service this month end. I will request the Service Guys to fix it properly. I do not know will they oblige to do it, since it was not done by them. Let me try. If not I will ask them where normally they will keep it and do it from local mechanic/electrician.

Thanks for the advice and concern.

Not yet decided. More over, I will be busy for next week at office. May be by this month end I might present her with a FOG Lamp.

Today for sure she will get a tank full of LPG[:D]

Friends,

Any possibility to re-paint the Beige interiors of my sparky exactly like the fiesta. I wanted to do this since beige interiors are reflected a lot in windshield and it disturbs a lot while driving.
Dear Sethu, referring to a old post of yours. it is regarding the reflection of dashboard in windshield. I had been thinking about sharing my experience about it for a long time. but work load was too much to handle [frustration]. So posting it now.

The Windshield reflection can easily be reduced upto 90% (that is almost invisible) by using polarized sunglasses. I have bought one last month and finding it quite useful. It really nullifies the reflection in the windshield. No need to paint the dash [clap].

That is nice of you Lucas. Can you tell me more about it and the cost. Temporally i have managed with towel only in dash before driver's seat. To some extent it is okie. but not fully.

@ Sethu, the glass is from Fastrack. Mine one looks like a normal Aviator Sunglass, but the "magic can be seen by the eyes of the beholder" [;)]. Cost Rs.1995.

Please don't buy it online. Go to a Fastrack shop and ask for polarized glasses. you may opt for other brands too. there are polarization testers available with them, where you'll be able to check whether the glasses are polarized or not. this test is a must for confirmation.
I am telling you, you'll love it.[clap]

Oops. I am sorry I did not noticed the word Sun Glasses in your first post itself. Actually sir, I am wearing specs. so no question of sun glasses. What I do now[frustration]. Already I have planned to stick Anti Glare coating in my current specs [earlier I had and did not faced any problem, But when changing to new one I forgot to mention it]
