Exactly after a week of official launch, we have 39 bookings from our own forum and that’s speaks potential of this car and people have waited patiently for months/years to own this beauty. I had started my new car hunt late last year and did a lot of test drives of cars which falls in the 10-15 Lakhs bracket (even though my budget was 12) till this car was launched and took couple of test drives and booked it instantly. I am not talking about negatives or positives of this car vs. other cars that i have driven but I want to highlight that this car has generated lot of curiosity and taken the nation by storm.

Got a call from trident renault
asked about my decision on Duster [called me almost 20 days after my enquiry]
told them i booked Ecosport
the guy told ecosport has toppled during test drives
i know how to topple the duster but i wont do it because it doesnt have 6 air bags to safegaurd me better.
they disconnected the call.

Actually, we should look more at the cars being delivered rather than the booked ones, as few might cancel their bookings owing to any reason.

That way, we can have a true figure of number of ES's finding homes.

@Indian : Request you to start a new thread, where people can vote, who have got their vehicles delivered and we can add on, as and when our ES gets delivered.

Booked Titanium Diesel either Sea gray or Moondust silver on 28th June, at Gateway Ford, Siliguri, most probably will be getting the car on 6th September.
Liked this SUV so much eagerly waiting for it .

I was going through the ford ecosport brochure and it mentions that the base variant doesnt have "rear seat tip and tumble", does anybody know what it means? Does it mean that the rear seats are not foldable. Also, the front grille is supposed to be black, would it be possible to get he silver or chrome finishing(like in the top model) in aftermarket?

like you will see in the mid model or top model the rear seats are fold able as well as we can again fold the folded seat like in ertiga or innova but in base model we can only just fold the rear seat like in any ordinary hatch.

simbly speaking rear seat is foldable like in figo

hmm..First time seeing someone downgrading from T(O) to T. Yes I know grab handles also important. But IMO front passenger should be able manage without that. Only the issue could be to rear passenger but is it that big of a deal? considering the things you would miss wrt T(O).

Agree that grab handles are good to have features, but any day airbags are better than grab handles. Airbags saves lives, grab handles doesn't.

Grab handles are useful only for co-passengers and not the driver. You also need to consider how often are you going to travel full load. 90% of the time most of us travel alone.

It is really sad on Ford's part to not have grab handles along with airbags. It is no rocket science anyway.

my family members taken that grab handles like a sugar coated tablet, because i told them to wear seat belt instead of holding grab rails

somehow felt that the tiatanium interiors are better than that of the t (o). May be because of the lighter tone i guess its just a personal opinion and not the only reason for booking a titanium over other trims! No doubt the t(o) is vfm with those additional airbags!

true.. I too changed from titanium(o) to titanium bcos of interiors.....

Thanks Mighty. looking forward to getting the vehicle first. Most probably I should get on next to next Wednesday.

Buck is my all time favorite character too. I am a big fan of animated movies and Buck is something I will always remember.
