Booked a New Ecosport? Let Us Know

This is very good thread, thanks Indian for starting. I was thinking whether we can add the colors booked my members along with the variants so that we can get the pulse of the people with their color choices

I don't think we can add color poll to the this thread. We can start a new thread for colors and have all our color related discussion there. Does it sound good?

Actually everyone predicted their would be more takers for trend, but here in the pool even we found takes for ambient but not trend

I think the pricing made the difference, everyone got themselves upgraded by one variant I suppose. Hope Ford keeps the price intact till we get our vehicle in our hands. People who booked are the people almost made up their mind based on their research(Thanks to TAI) etc. Now once the news spreads and people start seeing vehicle on the roads, new wave of booking will happen and at that time bookings will happen uniformly across the variants IMO.

Yup.happened like you said. I had pre booked the eco boost titanium with a max budget of 10 lskhs....but the price announcement changed it to titanium(o). The six airbags were falling in my budget range. The same must be happening with lots of people.

Pre booking date- 21 june

Model- 1 L titanium(o)

Colour- Panther black

Expected delivery- August- September

I have the same question. How do people know what is their number in the queue? And will Ford send a confirmation call/email or something with the VIN etc?

No waiting list number. Just received their booking form. If they are sorting the orders by the form's serial number, then I'm doomed. My number is 494!

But that SL may not be just for Ecosport, It might be a general booking form which goes across all cars being sold. But in my case SA said I am number 13 for Ecoboost engine. He said its printed on the papers he gave me. I did not check it at that time, but I could not find 13 on booking form, however on the receipt had some alpha with 13 in it. Hope that is the one. Will check with him later and report back.

checked with my dealer on my ecosport status

he informed me that today they delivered ecosport for 55th booking number

my number is 151
and he said the delay dependa on color too; if there is more demand for the color then delay may happen

he informed only white and red are in high demand

i hope ill get my Ecosport by August

By the way, at which dealer did you book your Ecosport. I know of just one Ford dealer in Mangalore which is on the highway. I stay close by. Saw couple of Ecosports there when I was in Mangalore 2 weeks ago.

Yes Cuavery Ford on HW, There is only one Ford Dealer here . But they don't have couple of Ecosports as you say. They just have one Diesel T+, they say that it's actually arrived as a TD vehicle but they did not receive the display vehicle so they are using this for Display .

Oh is it. The showroom is on a raised ground and hence the inside of the showroom is not quite visible from the highway. Believe it is a white Ecosport. Must have mistaken a Figo for another Ecosport.

By the way I stay a km inside the road next to the dealer. Sorry for going completely OT. Let us stick to the topic.
