Fords ecoboost engine has some issues for which people have raised lawsuits in US. Let us see how it goes in India.

It’s said that Ford’s EcoBoost technology is to blame, and multiple Ford owners in several states have already filed lawsuits with Ford in federal court, claiming the EcoBoost engine technology is defective because the engine loses power during acceleration periods. That ongoing status of those lawsuits are unknown, but now that the NHTSA is investigating, the court cases may not last as long as initially thought.

Somehow felt that the Tiatanium interiors are better than that of the T (O). May be because of the lighter tone I guess[:)] Its just a personal opinion and not the only reason for booking a Titanium over other trims! No doubt the T(O) is VFM with those additional airbags!

Congratulations buddy on new ES. Your are right on the issue reported on Ecoboost engine. Does not concern me too. 1.0 L engine has been in service since 1.5 years and even being used in Ford Focus in US. It even has won the awards for second year. So I feel it should be pretty safe.

Probably, Since I could not see other variants I am not sure. But I do not care much about the shades or tiny visual differences as I look for better value for money. The safety is something which can't be valued on numbers [:)] I feel anyone has extra money to shed should definitely go for Titanium Plus. Dont spend it on spoilers [evil]

OK, the booking race is on Petrol is still doing good IMO currently D:P is 12:9

I have booked 1.5 l p ambient, but im terribly confused about the color. I have booked mars red, but i fear that it might look like a toy car on the road. Is there anyone who has bought a red color ecosport. It might be worth adding he color poll also to this thread. The dealers are saying white is selling the most

I dint find the mars red giving the ES a toy looking car look at all .

its gives the ES a funky and trendy look .

If you want to play safe then white , silver , chill metallic are sober colours .

Damn the ES looks neat in all colours [frustration] hence its bound to create confusion for a buyer who is not very colour specific guy to start with .

1) what is families choice of colour ?

2) take your profession also into consideration , for example some people want to see a artist in a red pant but will get shocked to see a doctor wearing it in clinic [lol]
White , silver , grey are safe baits here .

Beside that, mentioned points are contradicted by people everyday .[:D]

Hope I have confused you more [;)]

To add to that, you also have to consider the age. When I bought my swift I wanted to buy orange, but then last minute I changed my mind and went for silver. Later even I repented also thinking that I should have gone for unique color. When I considered Ecosport immediately I thought I would this time go for Mars red(which is a orange), but while booking soberly booked 'White' [frustration]
So Its complicated and basically one has to choose what fits you. For some people jazzy stuff works, but for some sober. I know Raja would pic 'Mars Red' [evil]

Im about to get married and my fiance too cant make up her mind(about the color) :P.

I called up the dealer and he says that minimum waiting is 6 months now. Im glad that I booked the car yesterday as the difference between two days is extra 3 mths waiting. So I guess cant and dont want to change now. The onlu worry I had was people might find it girly or toy like and a number of people have confirmed that its not like that so feeling better about the choice now.

Now im worried about something else, the engine option. I booked 1.5 l p without even a test drive. I know it wont be as good as a 1 l eco or 1.5 l d engine but for me it was purely elimination. 1l ecoboost was out of my budget and the diesel engine was not refined (I could feel the vibrations in the clutch and gear lever) hence the 1.5 l p. I'm hoping that its atleast as powerful and refined as the honda vtec engine.

Bit still overall happy that I could get the car with all the features in base model for just 7 lakhs.

Hi,

Booked Ecoboost Titanium O from Latangi ford today and my colour preference was sea grey, i went with the mind set of booking white but when i saw grey, me along with my dad and wife decided to book grey. Lathangi ford had all the colours in display except Black and that made my decision more easy and i dont prefer black.
