Hi,

Booked Ecoboost Titanium O from Latangi ford today and my colour preference was sea grey, i went with the mind set of booking white but when i saw grey, me along with my dad and wife decided to book grey. Lathangi ford had all the colours in display except Black and that made my decision more easy and i dont prefer black.

Congratulations buddy, sea gray is a nice premium color. Only thing is you have to manage the cleanliness and shine well. Nice to know I have a company now!

Booked Diesel white Titanium(O) from MPL ford.In fact I changed my choice from Eco boost after reading about the "turbo lag" in the city driving. I was promised delivery next week.

I was going through the ford ecosport brochure and it mentions that the base variant doesnt have "rear seat tip and tumble", does anybody know what it means? Does it mean that the rear seats are not foldable. Also, the front grille is supposed to be black, would it be possible to get he silver or chrome finishing(like in the top model) in aftermarket?

Yes chrome grill is available as a official assecorie, also the fog lamps and roof rails .

Wohooo! Thats awesome. I was a little scared thinking what i might have to do to get that grill painted. Now just cant wait for my car, the nextthree months would be killing.

Wow so many Ecosport's booked on TAI. Kudos to Ford for bringing out a new product at a very competitive pricing. Titanuim(O) diesel seems to be the pick of the lot as of now. Its pretty loaded considering at what price its being offered at. Happy to see people booking the highly awarded Ecoboost variants too. Surprisingly no takers for the 5.59 Lac variant? Or I would say it is just for the newspaper/online marketing of the car. Brilliant tactic anyhow. I have heard dealers are pushing folks for higher variants where the margins are better. Is it true? Anyways, When can we expect the first delivery and the ownership thread among the 25 bookings done here? I am sure all of us must be eagerly waiting to get hands on our new rides asap.

it looks awesome if we have it in ecosport

True that colour looks great . Infact I wanted something like the wine ( Marron ) colour they have in the city and amaze for the ES . Or atleast the one ford has for the figo already " Colorado " red .

But then we can't get everything in life at once

as of now, 28 Ecosports owners on TAI alone. I guess Duster would soon be done and dusted by this car. Hope Tata be able to brave this ecosport storm.

I've Pre-booked the AT and waiting for delivery. I called the ford customer support at 1 800 419 3000. To check regarding the AT production and delivery. The agent confirmed that all the variants are being produced and there is none which is not in production yet.

He was not willing to give a date or time of delivery. Wants us to check with the dealer for details. Chennai dealer dosent know if they will get the AT as part of the first lot of allocations to them. Keeping my fingers crossed.

AT buyers please do post the status of your delivery.

Wow its raining Ecosport here.
On my side I have booked 1.5TDCI trend in Diamond White on 13 th june 2013. Yes the very first day the bookings were officially open dealer promised on a clarity on delivery date by tomorrow. He said the MAXIMUM waiting for me will be 20 days !
