Given "Ashada" month starts today, the bookings should slightly reduce at least in regions and communities who believe that nothing auspicious should be done during this time. Maybe some of these people will postpone their delivery to next month, allowing others to take deliveries

Live score [glasses]

1.5 P : 11
1.0 P : 17
1.5 D : 30

Petrol to Diesel ratio 28:30 Not bad [clap] Considering no takers for Duster Petrol.
In overall current buying percentage outside, I am sure diesel would win big time. So my apprehension is people who read and do research make judgement based on some logical reasoning(whether they or right or wrong).[clap]

Ford should be worried. They would not be making anything by selling the petrol engine Ecosports. They soon would have to hike the prices of the P versions. I think their current strategy is to wear out people who have booked the petrols (long waiting), and shift their bookings to diesel.

I am already having second thoughts about my AT booking. Yesterday took the TD of diesel again, but decided to stick to AT. But I guess, I would soon reach the tipping point.

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum.

I have booked Ecosport 1.5 Trend (P) - Sea Grey model today in Chennai. Sales people told me I have to wait 10 months for the delivery. But they told this should happen before it self. But anyhow the maximum waiting period is 10 months from now. This is too long [embarass]

And also they told me only 2 vesicles are delivered still now and that is also Titanium Diesel version.
10 months!! even i have booked 1.5 P Trend, Malayalam Ford Cochin, they told max by Sept. But i guess they dont have any clue when they can deliver as 1.5 P MT are not even available for Test drives. Any one with info on this matter please update me

Thanks.

Hello,

I prebook the ES on 15th June in MetroFord Bangalore St Marks road.
The booking is for a Titanum Diesel, yet I was flexible on color and even configuration (petrol/diesel/ecoboost), I am more keen on the delivery, I wanted to be delivered in the first batch, and they told me the Titanum Diesel Silver color was available for first batch delivery.

But I am not sure when is the delivering happening. They are telling me it will be deliver before 3 months, but it seems to vague. In fact for a 3 months delivery period I would have choosen an Ecoboost mars red colour

anybody has gotten the car delivered from the same showroom already? i think my booking serial number is 63

thnx

I Have Booked EcoSport TDCI Titanium Diamond White on 27th June From Delhi Ford Wating Period 90 Days.
Congratulations Rahul, welcome to TAI. So many new members on TAI, thanks to Ecosport and all the confusions [clap]

woah!! 70 Ecosports booked in TAI alone. This is stupendous success for the company. No wonder it has 24000 bookings.
24,000 bookings ? Has ford made this official Vicky ?
Right from the beginning of this Ecosport saga, there is clarity missing from Ford [frustration]

Out of all those 70 bookings nice to see half of them being petrol [clap] Never in Indian automobile market such thing happened IMO. Come on Ford we need a 'take down' now.

Seriously, Ford would have expected a decent opening for the Ecoboost but this is in line with US's trend. There they make 60% of their vehicles which are powered by Ecoboost. Here too, it has the same almost 30% Ecoboost trend. In a Diesel powered market like India even Ford India would not have forecasted such a shift in demand. Blame it on the depreciating rupee. I think that is the reason for the long waiting period for Ecoboost.
