With the arrival of Innova,Vento's running might get reduced as my dad will use Innova mostly and Vento would be used by myself and my mom.My dad will use the car when the driver is not available and whenever we take Innova,he might use this.

1,01,000 Kms done!

With the arrival of Innova,Vento is still munching as usual as ever whenever driver is not available.Now,odo reading is 1,01,649 Kms as of today whereas Innova has run 76832 Kms in 5 years 2 months with his first owner.He has run just 600 Kms in 2 weeks that too in city and 120 Kms up and down run to hometown.Whenever driver is not available,Vento is preferred as it is easier to drive in city and my dad could drive it easily in city traffic.If driver is available,obviously it is Innova as Vento is used by us whenever dad takes Innova.Whenever driver and dad is available,we prefer taking Innova whereas my dad uses Vento.

Now,Vento became a perfect second car in city as a beater since Innova's arrival.Might replace this in another 6 months as it has run more than 1,00,000 Kms with Ciaz or City as mileage is much important for us.

Hi Buddy, First of all sorry for my delayed reply, Congratulation on your new buy the Innova VX and For achieving such a big milestone in a car's life. And its great to know that you have extended your vento's life in your family, and i would say better go for the Ciaz over the city as it has a better interior space, better Cabin Quality, Better Mileage, Better after sales and service, Better Fit and finish And also better priced compared to the City. Sorry for Using Better frequently but this is the true fact. Anyways buddy Congratulation again.

1,02,000 Kms done!!

Thanks for the compliment doc.Again did highway run of 250 Kms in our 2 cars i.e Vento and Innova today.Vento has completed 1,02,000 Kms whereas Innova has completed 77000 Kms today.Did nearly 1000 Kms in Innova.Regarding new car replacing Vento,my dad decided that Ciaz would be the replacement for Vento as it is vfm and one more advantage is SHVS.

And,congrats for booking Ertiga.

Advantages of Innova over Vento is comfort,space,reliability,cheap maintenance,better AC whereas advantages of Vento over Innova is build quality,better performance,better stability at 140 Kmph.

1,03,000 Kms done

Completed 1,03,000 Kms today in Vento.Did just 1000 Kms in 20 days coz we are using Innova more than Vento.

Present odo-1,03,063 Kms as of today.

Present odo is near to 1,04,000 Kms.Still 1300 Kms to go for 1.05L Kms service.Neglecting the Vento much as we are using Innova mostly.

how has been the maintainence of the diesel vento?

Many of my friends had injector issues post 50 kms

Bharath Sir-That's good that you have changed the tyres to Continentals.My michelins have completed 60,000 Kms in 2 years 4 months on Vento and thinking to change it after 1,05,000 Kms service as the present odo is more than 1,04,230 Kms.Did 4000 Kms since last WA/WB.

Btw,some hissing sound is coming from the right side of the front suspension since last few days.think wheel bearing has gone kaput.Will change those at 1.05L Kms and I think 1.05L Kms service would be an expensive one coz of parts change.Told dad to sell this and buy another car like S-Cross 1.6 or used cars like Corolla Altis or Civic.But,his plan is to keep this car till this year end and sell it off for new one.

Kaput bearings usually give rise to kat kat kind of noise, hissing sound arises due to entry or exit of gas.

I don't know much about VAG fuel injector issue, but in general
it arises due to use of BS4 fuel ( ultra low sulfer diesel). Sulfer is an antibacterial agent and low sulfer leads to growth of microorganisms in the fuel who clog the injectors. Just check with VW.

Bharath Sir-Sure I'll check about those issues with A.S.S people as my 1,05,000 Kms service is nearing in few days.My SA had suggested me to change the injectors but I said I'll ask my dad and confirm this to you.Said my dad about this and the replacement costs ₹90,000,which is expensive.So,dad asked me whether we should sell it off and buy something new.I said yes but he again confirmed with my driver regarding this issue and my driver said,nothing will happen Saar,it's a small issue and we can clean those injectors.That was happened 2 months ago when the car went for fuel cap replacement.

1.05L Kms service done!

Gave the car for 1.05L Kms service at 1,04,590 Kms this week.Had to replace lower arms,struts,engine mounting beds as we were getting sounds in a worse manner.

Got a bill of nearly ₹40,000 for this service.
