2 years and 54500 Km

May I know the cost of the clutch buddy. What was the reason for changing it? Personally telling Vento itself is best for highway runs [;)]. Because of its powerful yet frugal engine, solid handling and good interior comfort it does well to be a highways car. Well if you are still looking for a new buy go for GT TSi. Brilliant car that is[clap].
Actually,my driver always press the clutch and that's the reason to change the clutch. Now,she has completed 67000 Km yesterday and had a highway trip this morning by dad.

BTW,she is completing 2 years with us this week and did 54500 Km in 2 years.2014 was good and bad year for Vento because we changed the shoes to Michelin Primacy 3ST,changed the battery and had much trips.Bad bits was 3rd service cost.

From Feb 22 2014 till Feb 20 2015,car has done 30,000 Km.

Maintenance costs-Rs.78173-This is the total cost of third and fourth services
Other miscellaneous costs like tyres and battery-Rs.30,000.
Total amount spent in 2014 is Rs.1,08,173.

Michelins has done 24000 Km and still lot of life left.Estimated life of tyres is another 10-15K Km as the car is mostly used on rough terrains without wheel alignment and wheel balancing. Will go for 205/55R15 as a next upgrade.

No plans of selling as this car impresses me a lot and can't find the replacement for this car.Considered Honda City as her replacement but build quality and performance was nowhere near to Vento.Maybe replacement for Vento would be another Vento TDI DSG if upgrade comes into the thought. As of now looking for second car as a company for Vento. This time automatic car.

The 3rd and 4th service seems to be mighty expensive. Apart from the clutch what else has gone wrong or needed replacement. Can you please break up the costs for me. Well apart from that Vento is really one of the best car in it's segment. There is no other car that can match it for performance, ride and handling or build quality. Well I feel Vento DSG will be your option as it satisfies all your requirements and more frugal too. By the way did you up size your tyres for Vento?

No.3rd expensive was expensive than 4th service.4th one costed me just Rs.10799.We have to change the clutch because it became hard because my driver presses the clutch hard.True,no vehicle can beat Vento.Even new Verna can't beat Vento.Vento DSG would be the true replacement for Vento TDI MT.Yes,I have upgraded the tyres to 195/60R15 Michelin Primacy 3ST and done 24000 Km on them.

What problem you faced buddy. Anything serious?
Nothing.Car suddenly started jerking while on the move. So,we stopped for a while and checked the engine and found that something is getting leaked. So,called my grandfather to check the car.He came and drove the car and he said its smooth. So,we continued our journey and filled the diesel of Rs.300 and went smoothly till Hyderabad. Can you tell what is the solution for this?

I guess your fuel filter Might be clogged up and this might not lead to proper supply of fuel to the engine. May I know the exact fuel level when this incident happened. So get your filters cleaned buddy and check if it persists once again. Nothing serious.

Any idea of how did it break? Ask them to show that part to you. Is that the reason for the jerking? And Congrats for your next vehicle. In case of Innova suggesting you to wait as facelift is going to come. In case of XUV book it immediately as there is a sunroof version available. Please do update about your Vento.

After going through your post I won't be giving my vento tdi to my gf. She has the habit of putting her foot on clutch. 78k is hell lots of money for clutch replacement[anger]. Anyways your car will be back to normal soon enough. I can understand your feelings why are you not trading off your vento. It always put a smile on our face when we accelerate[:)]. 250nm.

Too who ever you give your vehicle to buddy, if they drive with their foot on the clutch it starts to wear out buddy [lol]. I believe his car is back to normal and yes even I have a Vento TDi and yes like you said the way it accelarates is oomph[clap]. And not to mention its frugal too. I have travelled to Madurai -> Bangalore and back to Madurai (some roaming around in Bangalore city. Approx distance : 1000 kms) in one tank of fuel and had 3 bars left. We maintained an average cruising speed of 130 km/h and Vento always proves to be a great long distance cruiser.

Does anyone of you are suffering from steering judders and brake pedal pulsation while braking? If yes vw ass would tell you to replace disk rotors and pads. I have replaced my vento disk rotors two times in 38000kms. Now same issue is back[frustration]. So decided to go with BREMBO brake rotors for 5.5k. And the difference in quality is huge my vento braking has improved a lot[clap]. If anyone of you are suffering from this issue Please do try BREMBO brake rotors and you wont regret. I didn't change the brake pad as it was changed only 8000kms back.

Yes even I have changed for mine at 30000 kms but now at 43000 kms I haven't got the problem once. Lots of owners have vomplained about this issue though. Does Brembo brakes void warranty?
