76000 Km done and servicing!!

Completed 75000 Km already and now odo is at 76600 Km right now.Gave the car for servicing today afternoon.Was getting Kat Kat sound whenever I switch on the AC.Estimated cost-₹12000.

BTW,my car did 1100 Km trip to Kolhapur by us recently.

75K Km service update!

Got my car today.Bill I got is just ₹9648,cheapest ever than previous services.Overall,satisfied with VW service and my SA Rajesh,who is friendly to us since 45000 Km service which was done an year ago.Kat kat sound has gone now and its silent now.

BTW,Michelin Primacy 3ST has completed 33000 Km in 1 year 1 month.As per SA,it will run for about 5-10K Km if driven sanely.Brake pads have bite and 2nd set has done 45000 Km without any tear and wear.2nd set of clutch is running fine since last 1 year and more than 30,000 Km.I hope I will change my brakes to more powerful one like Brembos and suspension to TRW.My next tyre upgrade would be 205/55R15 and tyres would be Hankook V8RS or Yokohama S-Drives.

Now,getting ready for another trip tomorrow.

Re: 1 month with my Rocket!!!!

1 month with my Rocket.Rocket had done about 2000 Km with us in a month.Now,Odo is 14804 Km.I liked my Rocket very much than my Innova and 800.Now,going to 15K Km 1st Service by this week.Car gave me 12 to 13.5 Km/l in City.On Thursday,while I m going to school,I m surprised that MID showed its best 14.5Km/l in City.I hope that FE will increase in City and Highway after 1st Service.

Hey even Chevrolet cruze clutch overhaul costs 50k. Yes. Clutch plates+flywheel...
why don't you consider Chevrolet cruze yo your dad. It's a awesome car. You'll get mouthwatering deals on used cruze's. BTW, am also from Hyderabad. Where do you live in Hyderabad?.

My fiat linea clutch lasted 80000 kms. And costed 15k only. In my 6 years of ownership completed 120000 kms. Spent- less than 60k.

Car has completed 77000 Km and had 400+ Km trip and came back.We may complete 80,000 Km in few weeks.Planning to replace the car after she completes 1L Km.

Manish-No more going to school as I have started going to college since last one year.Now,I'm in 12th class.No Cruze as maintenance is high.

Going through your your bills. Cruze maintenance is lower than your vento. My friend has cruze. His regular service costs 8k only. He has done clutch overhaul. Costed 50 clutch plates+flywheel including labour costs in sanathnagar Chevrolet service center at 70k kms. Another friend of mine had a laura his clutch sinked to the floor. Clutch overhaul costed in mahvir skoda secundrabad costed 58k including flywheel. Your car clutch overhaul is cost is very much. Once ask vento owners how it's costed them. Btw, next which car are you planning to buy?

Our next car replacing Vento would be a Jetta or D-Segment cars.God knows which one we would pick.Or else,will be considering Vento TDI DSG as our next car.As of now,we are looking at second car which would be company for our Vento.We are considering City and XUV500.Then new Jazz came into the picture and badly considering it.Convincing my father to get an AT car as this would be our first AT car at home.Why we need AT because it will be easy to drive in city.If it is AT,we would consider City CVT,Jazz CVT and Polo GT TSI.Honda City is my favorite car since my childhood.Whenever we wanted to buy a car,my first choice was City.Same happened when we are going to replace our Swift.But,had to go for Vento as City was not there in Diesel at that time.What impressed me in city is sunroof.This is my first choice since I had experienced it in my friend's City VX Diesel.Hope my dream of buying City will come true by this year.

Don't buy city diesel dude. You'll be not satisfied with its performance when comparing to your vento. Nvh is worst i had a city for one week my BIL exchanged our cars for one week. Surprisingly my linea nvh is better than city note my linea completed 120k kms which is better nvh than city.
City odometer running was 40k kms. Performance is also same. Same torque and 1.3mjd has better rpm and strong turbo kicking at 2k rpm. Go for jetta or octavia. If you are ok with petrol go for linea tjet. Fiat service is very good in Hyderabad. A.V FIAT sanathnagar or go for jetta or octavia. Don't buy again vento try suv's or d segment cars.

City Diesel NVH is known issue for me.My friend,who is City user,is forcing me to go for Petrol as Diesel pickup is not good as Vento.Others are also suggesting me to look at other cars over city.If it is Linea,I would prefer T-JET any day over MJD.No budget for buying Jetta or Octavia as our budget is ₹15L.As of now,my father is considering XUV where as I'm forcing him to buy City.And,considering Rapid too.

XUV W6 comes under 15L.Present cost of W6 version is ₹14.95L in Hyderabad.Liked the Scorpio too but XUV felt VFM.

Yeah you can get xuv500 w6 for 14,82,500. But w6 didn't have features. Only 2 airbags and no alloys no drl. It is not middle variant also. W10+ is top end. Try to get w8 or try scorpio s10+ with 4 wheel drive.

Completed 78000 Km!!

Completed 78000 Km yesterday and present odo is almost nearing to 78200 Km as of now as we went to airport to drop my mom,who is going to US today and will be back by July 25th.Started at 4:50am from home and reached airport by 5:30am.Took 40 min because we went via PVNR expressway.

Vento is still bliss to drive even after completing 78000 Km.Will be completing 80K Km by this month end.Planning to replace this with XUV next year as she will be completing 100K Km and due to being VW,maintenance may increase.Already one of my dad's friend,who owns Superb is facing issues and maintenance costs has been increased.His car has done more than 80K Km in 4 years(2011 version) and he owns a BMW 530D M Sport 2014 and Dzire ZDI 2013 one.Coming back to Vento,we have done 65000 Km in 2 years 4 months 8 days.Michelin's have completed 35000 Km of use.I guess it will run till 50K Km.
