Highway trip!!!

Vento has done about 200 Km on highway today.Now,the odo is 50232 Km.There are two trips lined up soon.One to Warangal and one to my hometown.

2 highway trips done!

Had 2 highway trips since Saturday till yesterday.About 500 Km done in 4 days.That includes 360 Km trip to Warangal and 140 Km trip to hometown.Now,Odo reading is more than 50700 Km.Thats a quick 700 Km in a week.Can complete 51000 Km in few days.

Small mistake.Car is nearing to 50900 Km and as of today,she has done 50870 Km.We have done more than 800 Km in a week and completing 51000 Km by this weekend.

The FE of previous trip is 17.63 Kmpl.

Good Figures I must say, I too get around 17 on highways at speeds of 110-120 km/h. Rapid and Vento are very good cars, I dislike one thing, the engine noise is very audible inside the cabin and the clutch pedal vibrates. Many blame Honda's iDTEC motor for its high noise, but the City and Mobilio Engines feel lot refined then VW's 1.6 TDI unit.

Car has done more than 700 Km in 3 days.One was on Friday to Warangal and 2 day trip to Nagarjuna Sagar.She did all highway duties till today and completed 51000 Km on Friday.Now,odo reading is more than 51600 Km.

Recent pics of Vento,which was taken yesterday.Pics are uploaded and taken with Nexus 5.

53,000 Km and no issues!!

Car has completed 53,000 Km.The fastest 3000 Km in 1 month.She is fine and running without any issues.Michelin Primacy 3ST has done 10,000 Km in 4 months without any issues.2nd quarter of August was full of highway rides.

57000 Km and no issues!!!

Car has done 56700 Km and nearing to 57000 Km.There are absolutely no issues since last service.Running got reduced a bit due to the car was rarely driven by driver and mostly driven by mom due to lack of another car at home since last 1 year.Waiting for 60,000 Km service,which will happen next month.

And,car purchase would happen in another 2 months as 2015 is nearing.

58000 Km done and headlight bulb issue!

Now,car is nearing to 58000 Km today.Car did an highway trip yesterday and still running like a dream.Now,I have faced one issue.Driver side Headlight bulb gone kaput and planning to replace it by this week.Im tempted to go for Phillips Headlight bulb.But,which is better I cant decide it.And,Michelin's is nearing to 15000 Km and running with no issues like tyre puncture.Still 2000 Km for 60K Km service.

59000 Km and replacement of battery!

Car has done 59000 Km and replaced the battery to Exide two days ago.It costed me Rs.5000.Now,running without any issues.

Now,nearing to 60,000 Km service in few days.

60,000 Km done and completed 4th service too!

Completed 60,000 Km of blissful drive with Vento a week ago.On tuesday,we had given for 60,000 Km and got it today.Total bill is just Rs.10799.We have done only general service.Now,she is preparing for Srisailam trip on Sunday.

Next,getting wheel alignment from outside.

Car has done more than 65,200 Km as of today.She has done 1000 Km trip to Andhra in December mid and had 440 Km trip to Kurnool on christmas day.Nearing to 2 years and done 52000 Km till now with her.No plans to sell her.As a company,planning to buy Innova or Honda City.

Congrats buddy, Vento looks awesome. Hope that there are no issues. Mine has done 42000 kms in 2 years. No issues till now. Just that at 32000 kms service my brake rotors needed replacement. Actually that was because of a bit of ignorance. Service at 30k kms and pads were at their end of their life but due to some work drove 2000 kms extra and the discs have gone kaput. Anyways waiting for more of your stories.

There are no issues after 60K Km service.Only issue we faced is clutch problem and changed it at 45K Km service.We have changed the tyres at 43000 Km and now the tyres has done 23000 Km in 9 months with several highway trips.Now,odo reading is more than 66000 Km as the car went to Guntur today.

And,car's running could get reduced as we are planning to get an Innova or XUV for daily runs.And,still car's engine is still strong even after 66000 Km.If budget doesn't allow to buy Innova or XUV,will go for Polo GT,Elite i20,Rapid or City.

May I know the cost of the clutch buddy. What was the reason for changing it? Personally telling Vento itself is best for highway runs [;)]. Because of its powerful yet frugal engine, solid handling and good interior comfort it does well to be a highways car. Well if you are still looking for a new buy go for GT TSi. Brilliant car that is[clap].
