Rocket had done 39000 Km.She is doing highway duties these days.She had done 1000 Km in last 10 days.

He he. My Polo requires a tyre change too Not upsizing though. The car as it is lacks power and an upsizing will just worsen the condition.

@vipin, by now, you must have realised that either you need to start a new thread or visit a tyre showroom unless you have already replaced your tires.

40,000 Km done and changed the name to Beige Hound!!!!

Car had completed 40,000 Km and changed her name to Beige Hound.Now,Odo is 40,600 Km.I couldn't update because I'm busy with my 10th exams.Dad approved for tyre upgrade.Will be changing in 10 days.

41,000 Km done!

Completed 41,000 Km too on Wednesday due to frequent highway trips to our hometown.Hound's present Odo is about 41,400 Km.Done 3300 Km since March 10th till present.Changing the tyres by this week or next week.Got approval from dad finally to change the tyres.Im getting kar-kar sound from rear.Im observing this sound since last few months.And,Vento completed 2 years warranty and planning to pimp her soon.

42,700 Km done and few issues!

Hound had done 42,700 Km.Im facing some issues with Vento.

1.After switching off the engine,I hear fan sound coming from engine.
2.I hear kar-kar sound from left front door and some squeaks from left rear door

Planning to give her for service soon as 45,000 Km is nearing.Apart from these issues,Vento is still a gem to drive.One upgrade,i.e,tyre upgrade would transform the Hound.Planning to change the speakers as OE speakers are lacking punch these days.

PS:We had done 30,000 Km in 14 months.

That's completely normal AFAIK. I'm surprised that you noticed it just now.
The fan's working inorder to cool the engine. Pretty normal on diesel vehicles!

That's bad. Even I'm facing a very minor rattle from the rear boot or rear door. I haven't said this to the ASS yet since the rattle is so minor that its actually not audible to everyone. But still, it annoys me.

43500 Km and tyre change!

Hound has done 43500 Km and had a highway trip to hometown again.Got 18.4 Kmpl.BTW,finalized Michelin Primacy 3ST 195/60R15 as new set of shoes for Hound.Will be changing the tyres tomorrow at dad's friend's friend's dealer.

Finally,it's Michelin Primacy 3ST

Finally,changed the shoes to Michelin Primacy 3ST 195/60R15 2 hours ago at Ashoka Wheels,Minster road.Paid Rs.24400 including WA,WB.I felt that GC is increased after taking the car on speed breakers.My driver said that steering feel has been improved after upsize.Will test the tyres on highways.

Thank you Vipin.We were running on stock Apollo Aceleres 185/60R15.And,GC has been increased after taking the car on speed breakers.Tyre noise is minimal than Aceleres.As per my driver,steering feel has been improved after tyre upgrade.We paid Rs.23600,which is Rs.5900 per tyre.

Going to Bangalore and will miss my Hound!!!!

Will be going to Bangalore tonight 10pm and will be back by Tuesday morning.But,not taking my Vento to Bangalore.BTW,Hound has done 43900 Km and will be completing 44000 Km by tomorrow.Michelins has done more than 300 Km.

45000 Km done!

Completed 45000 Km today.Till now,Michelins has done 1500 Km.Already had 4 inter City trips with new tyres.Will be giving the car for 3rd service soon.Next,highway trip.

Ze Germans enjoying at BMW showroom.Yes,I was at BMW showroom for the delivery of my dad's friend's BMW 530D.BTW,she has done 45700 Km.Will be giving her for service tomorrow.

Don't get exterior treatment from dealer because they charge much.Please avoid it.Our Vento will be going for third service tomorrow and will be getting denting and painting from dealer itself.Current odo is more than 45700 Km.
