If 10k for 4 springs then i will get them changed first. It is risk to get remap done in india.
For budget of 10k it hard to find more rms amp.
Hello doc please post more pics of your verna [;)] wanna have a good look on those headlamps . Heard that redrooster has finally come up with a suspension for the fluidic verna .

Then il search for an amp in my budget and short list few and then wil update

Remap can be done safely
If u have customer support in ur city
I guess tuno-o-tronics are based in ur city
Do check with them once
They provide excellent customer support and map it accordingly to ur requirement

I'm sorry Pradeep
I have no more pics with those headlamps
I removed them immediately in the evening itself on that day so didn't click much pics I have one or two but they are blurry
So uploading one pic which I have

I dont want to go into so much trouble by remaping and all.
Btw i am back to bangalore.
I decided today what to upgrade from projector headlamp or dieseltronic.
I chose dieseltronic. I am kind if not ready to put those headlamps as i think it will ruin look. They will only look good with some good vinyls and few more visual mods which i am not planning to go for. So decided to buy dieseltronic. For headlamps i am thinking i will throw this p8 and buy phillips later. And will buy hid for foglamps too.
Now coming to dieseltronic paid 18.5k.
In economy mode i felt like turbo is failed.
Stock mode is stock mode.
P1- little difference is there. Turbo lag decresed slightly and whenever you put foot on gas pedal there is response from engine even at lower rpms. Nice for city driving.

P2 - here there is noticable difference.. I am not saying you will start feeling like jet taking off but you can feel that car is gaining speed faster. Lag is minimal , even at lower rpms car revs easily and doesnt feel dead like it used to happen before on stock where you were needed to shift gear down because you knew that car will take ages to get into motion. On highway i drove in economy and p2. At speed of 80 i was in economy mode feeling like turbo has failed and switched directly to p2 mode. You feel difference there. It didnt take much time to reach 160 definately very fast then stock in gaining speed.
May be 0-100 kmph timing in p2 mode will be better then stock now. But driving in p2 mode regularly is not good idea.
I think i will keep p1 mode as default good for city , highway and mileage too

im glad u took the dieseltronics over headlamps [clap]

i totally fogot to mention
i drove a verna with dieseltronics fitted few months back

as u said the power can be felt only in p2 mode
and rest all modes are pretty much same as stock

but i didnt feel that P2 mode is that powerful when we have to spend 20k for it
so i dropped the plan of the tuning box

and i heard that running on p2 for long time
might effects the engine
as the tuning boxes just fools the ECU that its running lean and feeds more diesel

and there will be an increase in BLACK SMOKE
when u revv hard
have u noticed it ?

Hey guys, a friend of mine suggested to let the stock speakers at their place. And add 6*9 speakers on the rear parcel tray.

He told me the wires to the rear speakers can easily be diverted to the tray. What do you guys think about this?

And will adding an amplifier affect the Oem speakers? another friend connected his oem laura speakers to an after market amp and it fried all the 4 speakers :/ don't know if it was faulty wiring or what.

@AHC I use the stock speakers with an amp and a sub-woofer, i feel the overall quality is good ( i am not much of a audiophile ) . The case about that laura might be because of faulty wiring, i guess. Do ask ask your friend about the rattle in rear parcel tray and the damping stuff , i personally am not a big fan of adding speakers there [thinking] .

First speakers should be changed are front then rear door speakers. Then if you want 6 spekaers then parcel tray is option.
Dont buy 6 *9". They are not good. Buy all round. Speakers wont fry until wiring fault or too much overpowering from amp.

Which amp do you use and how much it costed you ? I'll go for a 2 channel amp since I'll only use the 4 speakers.

You need 4 channel amp for four speakers.
I have JBL GTO 1004 for 6 speakers and JBL GTO 7001 for two subs. Cost respectively 13000 and 16500 2 years back.
You can use 2 channel amp but your fader setting wont work then.

So i went to get a quote from a shop. He suggested me jbl speakers cs series 135watts and told me this will be a sufficient upgrade. He quoted 1800rs for a pair.

I use a 2 channel Xenos amplifier AHC with a jbl sub woofer .It costed around 13k for the setup, installation charges etc. I'd suggest you to go with a 4-channel amp than 2-channel ones as it will be useful in near future [;)]. Does the quote hold for labour charges AHC? If not get the speakers online and get it fit in any local shops , in that way you can save a few bucks [:D]. Here's the link for the same :

@ pradeep - thanks for the link :D it surely is cheaper but i didn't bargain with him. From where i get my cars fixed, there's an audio guy as well. So no problem in fitting or even charges.

@ neil - so what do you recommend? I don't mind spending 3-4k for speakers but you know that since i'm not going to use amp there's no use of buying expensive speakers because without amp output won't be great. please suggest any speaker for stock replacement. I am even happy if the rear speakers sound the same as the front speakers.
