Hello experts,

I have upgraded my rear stock speakers in my fluidic verna with Infinity Primus 6502 -is. Sound is much better than what you get with default speakers.
It is a 3 ohm speaker. The default one, provided by Hyundai were 4 ohm speakers. So just concerned will it cause any issue? Will it draw more current from the HU or its ok to have these speakers?

Regards,
Abhishek

So please suggest me how to get rid of that vibration at a cheaper cost. How to get soft bass from my woofer?.My uncle has a honda city and he is using a similar JBL bass tube but it sounds great.Where is the problem with my system. Will a get the bass which i require if i change my HU ? I need your suggestion guys Thanks
U need to do some settings to get less bass.
Switch off the powerbass from HU. If it doesnt work then from your monoblock u need to do some setting.. like reduce the gain little bit. Put low pass filter at 100 hz and high pass at 120 hz... if it still doesnt work then buy an subwoofer and get a ported box for it which is tuned at 80hz

@abhishekagg19

It will not cause any harm. Before i had used stock HU with two amplifiers and 4 speakes and two subwoofers.
Just buy an amplifier for a safer side if you dont want to ruin your speakers..

Guys I need some help. I bought a Hyundai Verna around 6 months back. Want to change HU system with a AVN Dash sort of equipment...priorities are DVD Player, Bluetooth & Navigation but OEM looks are the top most priority with the new system.

Planning to get a 4 Channel Amp & a JBL Base Tube along it as well. Budget can extended from 50 to 55k. All information which I have got from market is about Caska for my Verna but I have heard it ain't at par as far as music is concerned. Kindly give me any of your valuable suggestions

Do give me suggestions regarding the same. As stated earlier, want an HU system with more preference to its OEM looks & Navigation with a good music system capabilities as well.

Along with it, require an AMP along a Subwoofer/Basetube [totally noob in this area so need some good advice regarding same].

Budget can be extended to 50k for all of the above.

Can anyone suggest a good economical touch screen system by which streaming audio through bluetooth works with the Steering Mounting controls (Next, Previous) along with all other Steering mounted controls. Navigation not required.

hello guys
i own a Verna Fluidic 1.6 SX 2011 model

recently the audio bug has bite me
so going for an ice setup
i intend not to use amplifier

ive decided to go for

HU - Pioneer AVH-8590 BT
Wooden Facial front panel for fixing the 2-din
an steering control interface to use the steering controls with the HU

and for speakers i can shell about 10-15k for both front and rear

Speakers-

Front
Polk Audio - DB6501 6.5" 2 way components
Rear
Polk Audio- DB651 6.5" 2 way coaxials

or

Front
Kicker - CSS 674 6" Components
Rear
Kicker CS 674 6" Coaxial speakers

or
Front
Focal IS 165- 6.5" 2-way Components
Rear
Focal - KIT IC 165 6.5" 2-way coaxials

i dont want to add any subwoofer at the moment
may install later but not sure

and i mostly listen to rap, hip hop , bollywood songs.

so please do advice me which set of speakers or combo are the best among the three or if any other speakers if not them and which doesnt need an amplifier

thanks in advance [:)]

Polk > Focal > kicker. all are good but polk is best.
but as you are not at all planning for subwoofer in future , try listening to Morel speakers. They can handle some bass too. and you will be needing a good 4 ch amplifier to run them.
Door rattling might give trouble if you expect speakers to produce bass in that case go for damping.

Without amplifier its not going to perform any good. its just waste of money. and your speakers will get ruined earlier.
Steering control interface is available. One guy quoted me 4.5k for it , sounded too costly and I had other things in the queue so postponed it.
Panel cost around 2k. Its not wooden though but it has silver finish which is kind of more good looking in my opinion.

Pics are here for your reference.

ur setup looks sweet :)

i have already sourced the steering control interface and wooden panel for 5k which isa reasonable price
i was quoted 5k alone for interface in another shop
and panel was 6k
but i got for 5k including both for 5k from my friends shop

and even purchased the HU

only thing im waiting is for the speakers

even im more inclined towards POLK after seeing many reviews
il try to listen to them in person
and will go for them

i have no interest to add an amplifier

the HU gives out 50wx4 so i guess that will be sufficient for the speakers with RMS range from 5-50w or so isnt ?
if im wrong please do correct me

and how much does morel costs ?
we have no source of morels in my city

Morel cost same as polk but witout amplifier they are of no use.
As you are not planning for amp , Dont listen to very loud volume as it will get distortion because of underpowering and damages speakers.
Btw this pioneer HU has lot of inbuilt settings like high pass filter and bass booster which acts like amp settings and useful to set speakers.
Update about steering wheel interface with some pics.
Are you android user? If so try checking availabilty of pioneer cd ah200c in your city. I am not able to get my hands on it in india. Found one on ebay for 11k but sokd out before i could buy.

so the HU can power up right ?

which is written as 50w x 4
this means they give 50w per channel ?

yes once i install the setup in the weekend il update with pics and it functionality

im a IOS user
wont the mirror-link work if i get the required usb cables ?

Iphone cables are easily available it should work.
HU will power them up but not meant to play at very louder volumes.

Mirrorlink is i guess better then appradio. I guess with it , your iphone screen will be mirrored to HU and you can fully operate your phone from HU.
Btw update about mirrorlink too if you get one because i think even android phone can be used with mirrorlink.

Its 50w per channel means around 25 rms while your speakers would be 60 rms or more.
It is kind of less power
Plan for 4 ch ampnin future because the HU and speakers you are buying are one of the best. Why ruin such costly setup for few extra bucks. Plus it will increase your speaker life and clarity of sound too. You can play as much loud you want and dnt have to worry about it.

il try to get the cable for the mirror link for my iphone and wil check it

i dont intend to use the speakers at full volume at all
but im considering ur advice for sure

Il plan for an 4 channel amp in my next stage of upgrade
but as of now i have to go with speakers and HU in this stage
later maybe after 2-3 months il go for an amp and Sub with Mono block amp

thanks a lot neil for the clarification
i could make up my mind and got some clarity regarding these stuff [clap]

il update the thread in the weekend
post the installation

thanks a lot

UPDATE UPDATE

got some free time
so got the audio system installed

got GENOUS seat covers installed in dark chocolate brown colour

ICE details

HU - Pioneer AVH-8590BT - 23k
the fastest HU which ive used till date, the songs change within a second compared to other JVC and lower pioneer models
i just loved the clarity of the screen and its interface
i rate it 10/10

Speakers

Front- Polk Audio DB6501 6.5" Components 10.5k
Rear - Polk Audio DXI 650 6.5 Co-Axials 4.5k

Speakers cost - 16k

With extra wooden panel - 2.5K
and steering interface to use the steering controls along with the Pioneer HU costing - 2.5k

overall im satisfied with the output

the mid bass from the components are very good and the tweeter have those warmth notes compared to my stock speakers which are very shrill
and coming to the coaxials
one can feel the bass flex on their feet who are sitting beside the doors :D

totally worthy upgrade
for those who are looking for some mid-bass and vocals
no distortion uptil 30 volume ,max volume is 40 on the HU

i will upgrade to a amplifier and a sub
and get the doors damped in my next stage
which is gonna be very soon
and please do suggest me a good amplifier ( 4-channel one ) to power the front stage and the sub
and a sub woofer too
under 15k budget

and i hardly took any pics during the install
as it was very hot and i was sitting in the customer lounge

next time when i go for the damping and sub install
i will take detail pics of each and everything
il upload the interior pics and the HU pics in a while

thanks a lot neil for the suggestion

Hii guys. I was thinking of changing the rear speakers of my car as they are average quality.

I don't want to mess with the wiring, don't want to install woofer or ampifier. Just want to replace the speakers to have better quality.

Front speakers are good enough for me so i was thinking to shift the front speakers to rear and install new speakers at the front.

I don't have much knowledge about ICE setups so can someone suggest what i should do?

Is it good enough to change only the speakers?
