Congrates for awesome upgrades. So higher models of pioneer are not slow as mine. I should have bought the better one.
You can upload a video of it if you free. I love to listen Polk system always.
By the way you have spent good amount of money. When you are ready for next upgrade will suggest you some amps and subs.

@allhyundaicars
Yes you can change the rear speakers. Sound will be better then stock. But not that huge difference until you change hu or put amp.

Hii guys. I was thinking of changing the rear speakers of my car as they are average quality.

I don't want to mess with the wiring, don't want to install woofer or ampifier. Just want to replace the speakers to have better quality.

Front speakers are good enough for me so i was thinking to shift the front speakers to rear and install new speakers at the front.

I don't have much knowledge about ICE setups so can someone suggest what i should do?

Is it good enough to change only the speakers?
today i have removed my stock OEM speakers
all of them are of same sizes and same 15W 4ohms impedance ones
so all the four speakers are of same quality
i think its because of the front stage tweeters ur feeling the front speakers are better than the rear

i have no idea regarding running the aftermarket speakers on the stock HU
might sound a bit clear
but not that remarkable

but when i only upgraded the HU with the stock speakers
the speakers clarity and depth increased dramatically [surprise]

@im using "Global Byte" interface
its some local ones i guess but does the work well
the installation was a bit tricky
the installer had some tough time fixing it but neverthless he did it
and works like a charm
yes all the buttons work
volume up/down
track next/previous
mode change
mute
call connect/disconnect

@neil il upload pics and video in the weekend
was a bit busy after the install today
and once again im sayin the UI and the speed of the HU is too good and a no match for the previous models

il take the pics in detail
my next stage of upgrade wil be in the coming next week itself
and im planning only for an AMP and Damping
i dont want a sub
because the speakers are producing the thump which i wanted
so sub is NO NO now
but u do suggest me a sub too
i might change my mind
as we can always OFF/ disconnect the sub isnt it ?

Is it car specific? The interface?
yes it is car specific and depends on the HU make also
like if ur using JVC HU
u need to buy interface compatible with JVC HU according to the car model
but the one i got fixes for
i20 ,i10, new model elantra too

AND ONE MORE THING

ive got philips 35W 4200K HID kit
the shade to similar to that we find in audi's and merc,
the light spread in the low and high beams are too good and lighting the whole road
they costed me 11k for a pair
this one is coming with can-bus ballasts
so i went for it
and the old ones weren't can-bus ballasts

Don't want to change hu. I was thinking of just changing the speakers. I had amp in my i10 and many times i had to visit a local car shop because of the issues it made. That's why removed the amp and woofer and gave it to a friend.

Can you suggest me any speakers? I can buy speakers first, if output isn't that great i can always go for amp later on.

Front are 55 watts and rear are just 15.

That was good choice going for phillips hid. It works great. In my dad's honda city 6000k hid is fitted. It works prefectly but in my car this hyped P8 55w 4300k hid since day one its giving problems. Illumination is good but right bulb oftenly gets stuck on high or low beam.
If you saw how he installed that interface keep it in mind because last time when i went to purchase it guy failed to connect it and i ended up buying 3D mats from those money.
And keep looking for pioneer cd ah200c or mirrorlink. I need navigation in my HU. And nothing better then google maps if i can run my entire phone from HU.
I am confused for my next upgrade out of 3
1. Projector headlamps - 28k
2. 2nd sub upgrade - 10k with custom made box and saving some boot space
3. Dieseltronic 18.5k

On last sunday I was coming back from tirupati. Suddenly sime thak sound came. We thought may be some stone hit the car we didnt bother to stop. After some time steering wobbling started. We stopped the car and rear tire was puncterd and we ran it at 140 kmph without any air left in it. Its not covered under warranty and had to buy one new tire

Go for rockford fosgate punch series sub. One sub will be more then enough for your thresold for bass.
You can switch off subwoofer from HU itself. And you can adjust thump too. This HU has lots of settings.
With bass two things going to irritate you.
1. Rear stock plank , it touches the rear windsheld and vibrates
2. Sunglass holder vibrates like crazy.

I got wooden plank made and rear thing sorted out but sunglass holder thing still there. I am thinking to fill it up with sponge tightly and close it for forever. I will have to put my ray-ban into glove box then.

the Philips HID Of mine is working like a charm
tested it in the rain today
the lighting is too good
but u must have got some defective piece there
and the bulbs come with warranty isnt it ?

and regarding interface
this person got to know how to fix it
so i can go to him next time if anything crops up

why u had to purchase new tire if the tire has got punctured ?
did the tire burst ?

im running on an upsize
205-55R16
Pirelli CINTURATO P7 Tyres
with aftermarket deep dish alloys
the stance of the car looks mean
and the ive got little extra GC
and no more scraping of the bottom while going through speed breakers or humps

NOW
coming to ur choice of upgrades

1-projector setup
i changed my headlights recently as the old pair got dull
so i experimented with projector setup with DRL integrated with signal indicators
im uploading a pic of my car with those projector headlamps
which ive taken out on the very day itself i got it installed

i got AES branded projectors with AES DRL
the setup was good with 1 year warranty
and lighting was ok ok
i have to align it to get proper lighting on road
but i wasn't satisfied with the output
so gave it to local accessories guy to sell it for me
as i felt that classy look of the car is gone
and the ricer image is getting into the place

so dont go for the projector setup until its a direct headlamp replacement kit
which ur getting from EAGLE EYE company ( Taiwan based ) for 13k without HID
it has double barrel headlamps with LED's as DRL

2-Sub upgrade
this is totally ur call
if u want to save some boot space then go for a proper setup

3- Dieseltronics
i feel the stock power is more than enough
for city and high way usage

if i have to go for performance upgrade
i will first go for a brake upgrade or a suspension upgrade
as the brakes suck in verna
and the suspension is wallowy in high speeds
and it scared the **** out of me last time when i was on highway

that is the reason im not going for the SUB now cuz of too much resonance and shaking of things inside the car
so im thinking only for amp and damping

so please do suggest a good 4 channel amp
which would give be enough for my speakers
where the front need 100w rms each
and the rear needs 5-60W rms each
so a amp with 70wx4 at 4 ohms
or 80wX4 would be sufficient right
as i mentioned my budget is around 8-10k

I am planning that taiwan based headlamps only but i am getting it for 28k here. Where did you see it for 13k?
Your alloys looks good.
Suspension are very costly. TEIN suspension costs 100k in bangalore.
My rear break pads needs to be changed. I am getting brembo break pads here. I will put those.
The main reason for Dieseltronic is because of turbolag.

Try buffers. They are cheap and they reduces bodyroll. I have detailed them in one of my thread. It might be on 2nd page
http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...-fluidic-alloys-max-tyre-upsizing-advice.html

Go for rockford or jbl gto amplifier.
100rms * 4 @ 2ohm will be enough for your setup

I enquired about new suspension springs from the new 2014 verna as they have undergone some changes and are stiff
They said 10k for set of 4 springs and labor charges extra

I saw them in Bangalore for 13k don't remember the place or the person selling it
it was somewhere in Bommanahalli region
once try there

I recently got my brake pads change and front two rotors changed too
The braking didn't improve at all
So u update after u install with brembo's

Yes the turbo lag is evident upto 2k rpm
If that's the case go for the remap
If u want to reduce the turbo lag

ok any particular model for the RF or JBL
and how can at 2ohms ?
when the speakers operate at 4ohms ?
