I wished someone had mentioned about the focal speakers earlier , now i am stuck with this . Anyway after 2 months i will change my rear speakers maybe at that time i will get those .
My issue is regarding the subwoofer , i have heard the same sub earlier in another car and one could clearly feel the thumping in the heart but not in my case .
You can improve the performance of the sub by some tuning to a certain extent but do remember that you are running the amp on a factory Headunit,it will make a huge difference when you play the same setup on an after market Headunit which might prove to be an expensive affair.

Ok , solved all the issues . Humming noise is now gone and tweaked some settings on the amplifier to get better bass . The infinity Primus may not be as good as the reference series but they are surely better then the similarly priced JBL comps , heard them both .

Hey Guys, been following the thread for sometime now.

I had got my HU upgraded to JVC KWAV70BT yesterday with Headrest monitors too. There's a whole new feeling inside the car now. though i had the Speakers changed to JBL sometime ago. It wasnt performing the best with the factory fitted HU.

The good thing is no wires were cut, so when i have to sell the verna. i can replace as it was during the time for delivery.

I was able to retain the USB Port and Mic Position with some alterations. Now the questing i have is, is there any one who have used the KS U30 cable with a USB extension to retain the USB port.. the alterations i have done lets me only use the audio of my Iphone and not the video. if i have to play video i need to use a KSU30. i dont want it to be hanging inside my Glove box or anywhere else. any suggestion please??

Hi all,

I have have got my verna sx 1.6 crdi last week and have went ahead and installed the ice, which I was using in my previous car. I had the crunch 5 channel amp (4 speakers and one sub out). I have used a line out converter (some indian brand) to power the front component speakers and the sub. Rear speakers are powered by the HU straight. I have retained the stock HU. I have a few doubts.

I have a humming sound from the speakers and when I accelerate it increases slightly. I have had such issue in my previous car also and they did a separate wire to earth the HU and it was working properly. Is this a bad thing to do if it comes down to it?

Also, even though the installer guys promised there wont be any cutting of cables, they did strip the insulation cable that were going to/from the HU to get connections to the line out converter and in the last part of the installation, they did cut and joined a couple of wires too. Was this a bad thing to do ? Should it voids the warranty ? Should I revert and change the cabling that has been tampered ? How much will it cost me in case I need to reinstate the cables as it was before ?

I have installed the scuff covers which illuminates when the door is open. For this also they have removed the insulation (did not cut it completely) and joined the cables to these scuff covers. Is this a bad to be do ?

I really feel bad for letting the installers rape the cabling of the car (maybe because its still so new car to me) and feel cheated as initially the installers said there wont be any cutting the cables. Or is it the normal way of getting these things installed ?

Thanks a lot in adavance for any comments/help on straightening my conscience regarding this mis(?)adventure of mine.

Hi Guys,

My name is Manish, am new here. I have booked the Fluidic Verna sx vtvt model in carbon grey shade. Will be getting it within the next 10-12days.[drive]

I am interested to upgrade the ICE of the verna. I am not interested in a sub, i don't like the boom booms, i listen to soft romantic songs, jazz, acoustic, country. So i am more interested in the clarity rather than the boom booms.

So i want you guys to suggest me which setup should i go for with the current HU. Which amplifier would be the best for me to get the best musical experience and should i upgrade the car's speakers or not and if yes which ones should i upgrade???

My Budget is 12-15k.

Waiting for your replies.[confused]:help:
