After market panels for placing such HUs are available on Ebay. I have posted a pic of it few pages back.
The one you posted is with silver finish on the centre panel, but the one which ScorpionPrince007 has done is with the OEM panel. i have searched many places for this wooden finish panel with standard 2 din provision, but its not available anywere.

ScorpionPrince007, Can you say something about this, how did u manage to fix the JVC standard 2-din system into this OEM panel?[roll]

Guys, u need not change the whole front Panel for ur 2Din Hu to fit.
But in case, if u need to, all sort of variants are available in market (Black/Silver/Wood Finish). I personally would not recommend you to buy it online, they might have some finishing/fitting issues with them.
Rather, go to some reputed Concern for ur ICE Installation, they would workout a solution for you.

Look closely at my close-up Pic of HU, posted earlier, u'll see that there is an additional frame, which i had to install, so that, the OEM Panel works out with my HU.

Hi Prince. Yes , I observed that you have retained the original Woodgrain finish panel of the HU and that there is an additional frame that you have put on the JVC head unit. Is this custom made or available as a ready frame at the shops. How much did this frame cost.

1. Also did you have to use an external mic or you have used the OE Mic on the front roof.
2. Do all the steering controls work as OE.
3. Did you have to put some ir bulb on top to operate the steering controls of volume and the track up / Down control.

This additional frame is custom made especially for this HU to fit in Verna's OEM Panel and costed me whooping Rs. 1,600/- [shock], bt i didn't mind paying that much for it, as it solved my purpose without compromising in any way.

1) Ye, The HU came with it's own mic, bt I'm not using it, rather, I've crossed it's wire with Verna's Mic, in the roof, so now, OE mic is connected to my HU.

2) All Steering controls are working ok, except for the only ones used for Phone (Calling/Disconnecting)

3) Ye, the Connector for Steering remote uses IR. The bulb is neatly tucked in the roof behind the Sunglass Console [glasses]

I'll share the video of my functioning HU soon. Video and sound quality is awesome and crystal clear, I'm mostly playing mpeg videos till now, although it supports DivX as well.
CD/DVD slot, along with SD card, nd Bluetooth Adaptor slots are all neatly packed behind the sliding and detachable face of the HU.

Breakdown of Prices (approx.) for my ICE Upgrade:

1) HU: JVC KW-AV70BT Rs.25,400.00/-
2) Amp: Rockford Fosgate R600-5 channel Rs.16,550.00/-
3) Components: Audison-Hertz EV-165 x2 Pairs Rs.16,600.00/-
4) Sub: Rockford Fosgate P2D4-12", in ported enclosure Rs.10,200.00/-
5) Wiring kit Rockford Fosgate x4 (~Rs.6,000.00/-)
6) Dampening on all 4doors and boot (`~Rs.4,400.00/-).

This package included the steering remote connector, nice quality after market front panel for this HU, auto relay for windows and installation charges, whatsoever.
No, my Aux Port in the car is laying useless, as off now.
What is the price of the Steering Remote Connector ? and are the original wires get tampered when connecting HU with steering controls. I have JVC KW - AVX800.

Thanx for the help freakdude

I'm getting Focal Polyglass Components 165 VB for 'Rs.12000' and Polyglass Co-axials 165 CVX for 'Rs.7000'

Is the price right ?
Components seem to be priced right, though I faintly remember a friend getting them for 10K or so. Co-axes are on the higher side I guess.

Rainbows used to be rulers at some time in components for their awesome natural and warm musical notes. Gladen is another awesome brand, less heard of but very famous abroad. Comparing to Focals, hmmmm, I would go with Focals [evil] just ensure you get genuine ones as lot of fakes floated in the market.

Thanx a lot....i really appreciate your help....Regarding genuine focals, i called up "Preeti Trading Corporation". They are the importers of 'Focals' in India. They gave me the number of their distributor in Delhi. So i guess i should not worry.
