Changed my HU with a JVC KW-AV70BT
Powered by RF R600-5 Amp
All 4 components Audison-Hertz EV-165
and, RF P2D4-12" Sub in a ported enclosure.

Scorpian, you have got one of the best and most complete ICE in fluidic on this forum.
that hertz must be crystal and i am sure sub is shattering windows.
Even box size is good, but where is the port??

i am using sandisk 4 gb pendrive in car. but i have played with my 8 gb kingstone too.
It must be FAT32 format. NTFS doesnt work.
My friend uses transcend 4 gb in his pioneer HU and his pendrive never worked in my car. so i guess transcend is a problem.

and i put songs in folder. it works for me

I cannot play any songs on a 16 GB HP Pen Drive...Seems like a lot of guys here are facing issues playing music off the pen drive.

Neil, does kingston and sandisk really work?

What about bluetooth and the pen drive slot?

Ye bro, steering mounted controls can be used with any "Steering Remote Ready HUs" available in the market.
The 1st pic in my previous post shows the Steering remote connector being installed on my HU, which is bought separately.
Also, My HU has built-in Bluetooth module in it, and is working perfectly fine with my Phones.
As far as the USB port of my car is concerned, i've crossed the wire of my HUs USB port to this one and both are working fine.

Kingston 16 GB works on HU. I am using it. I am affraid to tell you but other pen drives just dont work on our HU.

What about Aux input...have you cross wired this as well?

Kingston 16 GB works on HU. I am using it. I am affraid to tell you but other pen drives just dont work on our HU.

how did you manage to fit the new HU into the slot of the original HU?
The OEM unit is not rectangular in shape and how did you manage to fit it in the panel? did u cut the panel or something?

After market panels for placing such HUs are available on Ebay. I have posted a pic of it few pages back.

I'll share the video of my functioning HU soon. Video and sound quality is awesome and crystal clear, I'm mostly playing mpeg videos till now, although it supports DivX as well.
CD/DVD slot, along with SD card, nd Bluetooth Adaptor slots are all neatly packed behind the sliding and detachable face of the HU.

1) HU: JVC KW-AV70BT Rs.25,400.00/-
2) Amp: Rockford Fosgate R600-5 channel Rs.16,550.00/-
3) Components: Audison-Hertz EV-165 x2 Pairs Rs.16,600.00/-
4) Sub: Rockford Fosgate P2D4-12", in ported enclosure Rs.10,200.00/-
5) Wiring kit Rockford Fosgate x4 (~Rs.6,000.00/-)
6) Dampening on all 4doors and boot (`~Rs.4,400.00/-).

This package included the steering remote connector, nice quality after market front panel for this HU, auto relay for windows and installation charges, whatsoever.
No, my Aux Port in the car is laying useless, as off now.

Thanks scorpion i am eagerly waiting for your videos. Also show the dvd slot and how to insert dvd. My dealer said the hu panel alone will cost me 6k. China made will cost 2k. I have planned to upgrade hu at diwali time. Did you check pioneer head unit.
