even at 4 ohm it's enough bass. it's hitting really low notes. bass heard outside the car upto 10 -15 feets.
i will borrow my friend's mobile and click the video soon.
man i love this sub. it fulfills my desire. it sounds exactly i expected.

there is no issue with stock HU.. as most of the dealer said to most of the fluidicians that "Sir HU is not capable to handle that much power it will blow or etc etc". It's lame excuse or you can say they want you to buy aftermarket HU from them.
I am running two amps , one monoblock one 4 ch . 4 speakers and this huge punch stage 3 sub.
My speakers works superb. and i have enough of power for my sub or you can say the max it can handle....
Instead , i have suffered form overpowering and blew my previous infinity sub...
So any dealer make excuse of underpowering due to stock HU , it's not valid at all.
(and as per my knowledge , HU performs very little part in Powering when you run things via amp. Mostly HU sends audio signals to amp. If no amp , then it might be true. and there might be little difference in sound QUALITY)
If you not getting enough bass from sub then it's just because of your amp not giving enough power or it's your sub's limit...
Not a fault of stock HU at all.it is capable.and i think it's a very good OEM HU.

there are 4 ch , if we convert it via hi-low converter becomes 2 preouts.
Hi everyone Got my 1.6 SX CRDI today (white colour). i seems like an angle in white costume. Want to go for ICE upgradtion as i know this is the best place to be, Guys please suggest me some good options .
i will keep the stock front speakers (as i have heard they are good)
Will change my stock rear speakers with focal polyglass
and ll buy a new sub that will be Rockford Fosgate P3D2-12 Punch P3 DVC 2 Ohm 12-Inch 600 Watts RMS 1200 Watts
Please suggest me some amp guys also what i ll need to buy apart from all these.
please also comment on my above choice whether it is good or not.

new boom sub is really booming.
As freakdude told dont play at max for initial 10 hours , i kept gain at half only and this sub at half is like the full of my old infinity sub... dont know how powerful it is at max.

I connected my sub with old wiring only , nothing is opened so which installation photo you need to see exactly.

Which type of songs you listen?
For bass setup like mine - you can keep front speakers and change rear speakers. other wise i will suggest to upgrade all four speakers.
Focal polyglass is very good choice for sound quality but very costly.
Where did you find that Rockford sub?
I think the way you written the name of sub , i think you copied it from some online shopping site.
Even i purchased my P3 sub on ebay.in but mine is previous 500 rms model got only for 6750/- after 10% ebay voucher discount.
This new 2012 model you told is hard to find in india for cheap as it is just release last month worldwide. Even if you are getting the older P3 model somewhere it will be good enough.
Amps - JBL GTO series i am using are cheaper and good ones. I have 4 ch JBL GTO1004e and monoblock JBL GTO7001
you can even search for kicker , rockford , hertz amp too. all are good.
How much money you can spend on ICE ??

I have JBL 7001 monoblock amp for my sub.
I kept my gain at 4 ohms(half) in amp , and even i connected my two sub voice coils(DVC) in series so it's now at 4 ohms instead of 2 ohm. so everything at its half potential but it is still better then my old sub with full potential.
My amp can give 700 rms @ 2 ohm and 475 rms @ 4 ohm
My sub is 500 rms 1000 watts
i am providing my sub 475 rms by connecting it at 4 ohm
last time i gave 700 rms to 300 rms sub and blew it so dont want to do it again and keeping my gains at low.
I will post some pics of amp and wiring near amp.
I cant open my sub to click photo as it has some different type of screw , need some other kind of tool to open it which i dont have.
btw which model of hertz amp and which sub do you have? (sorry if i am asking again , i forgot)

the first two photos are of Monoblock.
as you can see i have two + and - like in 2 ch amp but i am using only one pair from them.
In your case you are using all four as you have bridged it.

under 10k you will get some good 4 ch amp.....
but good monoblock will be costlier. and as this sub needs 500 rms you need to find the best match for it.
i think the 2 ohm model is not available now in his shop...
you can try this 4 ohm model. performance will be same and you can connect the voice coils in series to get 2 ohm load. which will give better performance. but only with MONOBLOCK.
(dont buy DVC sub if you are planning to connect it in 4 ch amp)

there are so many choice for 4 ch amp under 10k , try for kicker/JBLGTO/Rockford prime/Hertz according to the speaker you are going to buy.
Match the rms of both amp and speaker.
For monoblock ,
you will need to spend more money to run this sub.
I got my monoblock amp for around 15k (i paid little more)
you will get around 300 rms monoblock amps for 10k but to run this sub you need better one (at leastt 500 rms @ 2 ohm stable) , which all starts from 13-14k.
try to search for rockford 500.1D or similar other brand amps. you wont get that punchy effect until your monoblock is not powerful.
if you are buying the above sub , tell me before you get a subbox.
I will tell you the best dimensions to get the good output from this sub.
For speakers focal is good.
most of the good 4 ch amps have settings , in which you can adjust frequncy and there will be filters , so no bass can go into speakers and so no door vibrattions will be there. you need to set it from amp.
but good monoblock will be costlier. and as this sub needs 500 rms you need to find the best match for it.
