the casing holding the 2 din system is the after market panel we are talking about. There is no proper place for a 2 din system in the stock HU place. So such panel have to be put to accommodate the after market 2 din HUs.

Where this casing/panel is placed? Does its size depends upon the HU size? Can we use any brand of HU with the help of this panel other than OEM HU? Does it come with HU or purchased separetly? Are these panels are raidily available or to be fabricated for our verna?

@simplykapur, hows the bass ? do you get the pounding effect that is experienced in hatchbacks ? I have but vibe slick components, Hertz ovals on the tray and Blaupunkt 1200 watts bass tube. I dont get the pounding effect but i can experience it if i keep the boot open [frustration] . Is it the same in your car ?

Bass Sucks dude. I think thats the problem with Verna. I feel sitting in the car its just Amp and the Components. Probably Mono Amp would make it work but i doubt. i think @ Neil Fluidic and @ Kunal can let us know about it.... @ Kunal i am also in Delhi.. i would like to meet you and get a demo of your system.. seems like i have seen you selling stuff elsewhere. I just feel if you spend like 45k if bass is not there... then .. its waste... [frustration][confused]

May be thats a prob with most of the sedans. The whole boot is isolated. It just doesnt allows the bass to come out. May be double bass tubes can do wonders[evil]

hey guys,
i am visiting forum after long time

few days ago my sub infinity 1260w , working totally fine and suddenly blew.
when i checked the fuse near battery , the plastic around the fuse is getting melted.
All the fuses are fine
I connected another sub with amp and its working fine too.

I dont know what can be the reason.. may be something that i am not able to understand or may be i overpowered the sub.

Now i have to buy new sub. planning to get dual coil 2 ohm rockford stage 3 power series subwoofer this time. it's 500 rms sub overpowering wont be an issue with it.

@simplykapur
you will not get that pounding effect with small 4 ch amp and this stock HU.
You should either get aftermarket HU or get more powerful 4 ch amp or a monoamp.
I had the same sub , if you post the video of your sub while palying i can tell you if you are powering it enough or not
i was getting vibration all over to the front seats with that sub but i have JBL 700 rms monoblock for sub.

DD sub will give hell lot of bass. but it will need good monoamp.
Where will you get DD sub in india?
if you buy panel you can put pioneer or other HUs. I dont know how these product's sound output will be.

I claimed my infinity under warranty. waiting for it to come. i will also sell it if i get it in working condition. Found a good deal for rockford P3D212 DVC sub. will try to buy it soon...
Without bass it's not a music and without music it's not a car.

upload vid of current setup[thumbsup]

@ Neil ..Yeah..., thats wot a professional( where i got my system installed) told me ...the DD subs are available in Delhi but freaking expensive ( 22k kinds)..RF Sub u mentioned are also available (14k kinds Dual Sub box)..probably i ll take one step at a time and get good stuff rather than in a hurry... JL Audio Amps have best mono blocks models but again they are at premium.. lets see ...i ll post the video soon... cheers![cheers]

Its problem with civic..city and verna... seats are not fold able ... i would suggest go for a Sub rather than tubes as Subs produce better Bass.. also.. go for a good sub with Mono... no need to hurry.... enjoy the ride...[glasses]

by putting this huge subs , i hope we dont need capacitors. they will cost 2-3k...

JL , DD , SMD fi-caraudio , DC , Skar audio these are real spl products in foreign countries. very hard to find for cheap in india.

If you really want some proper stuff , and if you have credit card to order , you can try it here.. You can customize every single thing about your sub and they will ship it to you. It's cheaper too. they say they ship worldwide but dont know about india

https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficarau...ata/0050_Speakers/product_overview.shopscript

If i had credit card , i would have bought one.
but you will need very big monoblock to run it and capacitors or maybe bigger battery too and 0 guage thick wires... difficult task

Does standard size HU fit properly in place of stock HU? Does we need panel to fix it? I enquired about pioneer HU model no. AVH-P4390DVD which cost around 21K and panel extra. The dealer quoted the panel price 6K. When i asked him that these panel are available for 1.5-2K online, he said they are cheap chinese products and he has branded panel which perfectly work for verna. Does these panel cost so much? Is pioneer model good for sound and video quality? Which are other brands to be considered?

Caska is available for 48K. What will be the right choice?

one guy quoted me 4k for panel.

i believe pioneer will have better sound quality. try kenwood too.

You said in other thread that you have some problem with amp , what is it exactly?
