Both clarity and bass punch effect? what more or less does one expect in ones car?[thumbsup]
And yeah, I have already taken out the "pre-outs" from the stock HU. Now, I guess I can connect the RCA cables from the amp directly to the HU instead of going the hi-low converter way (taking out pre-outs as in like there
are pre-outs existng in some HUs). Will the sound quality/bass punch effect be good now, i mean like any one expects ?
Haven't as yet fitted the HU in the car... just "taken out" the pre-outs. Will do it tomorrow. And give a detailed report, hope for the best and you guys pray for me too [:)] (after all, love my car and she is my baby)

cool. Even i am hoping that it will sound better. but dont want steering control get disabled.
as for me i dont think there is very huge difference in sound quality or punch effect but one thing is there that you have to provide more power via amp to get better effect as our HU doesnt have LOUDNESS , SRTV and EQ settings like pioneer HUs which boosts performance.

do post pic of "taken out" preouts. thats new thing.

Which 4 ch amp do you have?

someone will laugh at me i keep on posting my car videos. but its fine. i dont care.
here is the vid of my car playing some song at MAX without a slight amount of distortion.

bass video. if you are able to make out effect by moving sub cone you will be able to compare.
dont notice vocal distorion. it's because mobile camera cant handle bass.

I have a JBL 4 channel amp.
Very simple, "taking out" pre-outs from the HU means that the 4 channels of the amp(RCA cables) will get plugged in directly to the HU instead of through the hi-low converter.
Have heard(from many places/sources that it tremendously improves sound quality/clarity rather than going the hi-low converter way)

can you post photo of preouts. i am very eager to see how its done.

btw i have edited my previous post after you replied. posted some of my ICE videos there just in case you want to compare.

Waiting for you mod(taken out pre-outs). inform me does it improve sound quality or not. if so without any problem , i guess lot of fluidicians from this forum gonna do the same way. nobody was aware about this thing till now.
We have got hidden pre-outs. party [cheers]

@neil.vernafluidic, I had enquired about this in a ICE shop in Chennai. The dealer quoted 6500K for converters which would make both the steering controls work with any HU.
He quoted 52K [cry] for a complete setup of Sony 2 din HU . 2 head rest screens. and converters for the steering control.
Any how, the USB ports and AUX in ports will go waste if the HU is changed.

with all that stuff it may reach 52k , sony HU's are costly. AUX are in front of the HU, so stock AUX will be waste but in some HUs USB port is on back side extending it's cable which we can put in front drawer. There may be any way to connect that USB out via male-female USB cable to stock USB port [thinking]. [frustration]
Who will do all that !! I wont.

I have a Verna Fluidic 1.6 SX(O) CRDi stone beige colour. Amazing car :) Just three things I can say about the car to sum it all up - "VALUE FOR MONEY". I want to go in for an audio upgrade. Well, the car has an inbuilt audio system with 4 speakers + 2 tweeters which gives quite a goodish sound but not that kind of a " BOOM BOOM " sound expected from a cool car like this. I wanted to get a SONY XPLOD (1100 W bass tube) / JBL Bass Tube and a 4 channel Amplifier fitted to the system. Think it will do the trick !!

Now, I have never got an audio upgrade done to any of my previous cars so I am a little anxious how it is done and don't want to totally trust the mechanic and want to know a little bit about it. Guess the Bass tube will be fitted in the Boot of the car. Can the Amplifier be also fitted there itself (in the boot). P.S.My car is a sedan

What is the role of an Amplifier ?? Do we have to regularly fidget with the amplifier and do some settings kind of things? Because I had enquired once and one mechanic had told me that I will have to fit the amplifier under the front seat of the car...( I don't want to do that at all !!) I would be very comfortable with both the Bass-tube and the Amplifier in the boot.
Please Advise on how to go about it.
Thanks and Cheers !!!
For such exceptional car, Pioneer is best. I suggest you to with with Pioneer car entertainment products, they have best quality systems. Even, i am using Pioneer Todorki- The sound of thunder - in my car and it simply rocking. Powerful yet precise, the system comes in a cool, glossy-black style with full connectivity to external devices. All in all, Pioneer's TODOROKI will blow you away with its unbelievable power! Package consists of: VSX-RS320K – Multi-Channel AV Receiver S-RS33TB – Speaker System S-RS3SW – Power Subwoofer.

@Jerwin
Ya panel is available if you want to put pioneer, kenwood, sony or other HUs.
but i dont know if they are exactly like the one in video.
I dont know how reliable the HU that you showed , better go for CASKA or best is buy panel and put pioneer, sony kenwood etc, optimum performance.

I was thinking of buying rockford R1652-S (7k) to replace the front speakers and use R1653 (4k)/P1S652 (7k) speakers for the rear along with a JBL Amp JBL GT-X646 (9k). What do you all think about this setup - it fits (somewhat) in my budget of 20k? Will these speakers fit in the current speaker mounts in the Verna?
