After Samsung Galaxy Note 7, now an Apple iPhone 7 explodes

It’s like the Apple versus Samsung war will go on forever and the two companies will be at loggerheads in every aspect. Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s widely-reported battery explosions have recently been hogging the limelight. Catching up with the ‘fiery’ popularity is Apple’s flagship smartphone of the year, the iPhone 7. Recently, a Reddit user shared a picture of his new iPhone 7 that caught fire.

Reddit user Kroopthesnoop shared a photo of his burnt up matte black iPhone 7, which according to the user, exploded in transit, unlike Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s popular battery issue. The images posted by the user shows the deformed box inside which the iPhone 7 is claimed to have exploded. So basically, when this user received his delivery of the iPhone, he found it in the burnt state. “Something happened between the factory and delivery,” is all the phone’s owner had to say in his thread on Reddit.

At Airtel, the 32GB base variant of iPhone 7 is priced at Rs 59,998 and under the offer, you will have to pay Rs 19,990, which is the initial downpayment. The phone will be made available under Bajaj Finance with zero percent interest scheme. You will then have to choose between Airtel Infinity plans priced at Rs 1,999, Rs 2,499 and Rs 2,999 per month. Coming to benefits, the Rs 1,999 plan will get you 5GB of 3G/4G data along with unlimited local + STD calling, even on national roaming. The Rs 2,499 plan gives you 10GB of 3G/4G data, whereas the Rs 2,999 plan gives you 15GB of 3G/4G data per month. You also get free access to Wynk music and movies under any of the plans.

Facebook launches standalone Events app for iOS users

Facebook has released a mobile app for finding local happenings to enjoy with friends. The Events app tailored for iPhones hit Apple’s online shop, with a version “coming soon” for smartphones powered by Google-backed Android software, Facebook product manager Aditya Koolwal said in on online post.

Events is a stand-alone spin on a section at the leading online social network that lets people share plans for concerts, poetry slams, plays or other types of events they are interested in attending. “When you open Events, you can quickly catch up on new events your friends are interested in, recently-announced events by the Pages you like, and updates from events you’re already connected to,” Koolwal said.

Apple may launch new MacBook Pro later this month

Its been more than a month since Apple launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and strangely there hasn't been much rumours about the new Macbook Pro which was rumoured a lot before the iPhone event. However, as per a latest report of Macotakara, Apple might launch the new MacBook Pro later this month, October 27th to be precise. Moreover, it may also launch a new refreshed variant of MacBook Air which will come with 13 inch display. Sadly, the 11-inch variant of MacBook Air will probably be discontinued.

So for the first time,I have been facing issues with my iPhone 6 since last few days,which got updated to iOS 10.2 recently.Its not getting charged when it gets drained totally to 0 percent.It takes time to get switched on.Is there any solution to do this?When I connected to computer,it is not getting switched on.And,the charging cable,which I have been using since I bought my iPhone when new,got broken a bit.

I had faced this issue due to problem of charging connector port.Now,going to Apple service center to solve this problem.Whenever I charge my iPhone,there will be a gap of connector and it will not go inside fully.Maybe this is an issue of connector port.

BTW,Apple is going to manufacture iPhones in India from April 2017.The manufacture plant will be at Bangalore and they will manufacture iPhone SE initially.

Thinking to sell off my iPhone 6 for iPhone SE or iPhone 7.

I had faced this issue due to problem of charging connector port.Now,going to Apple service center to solve this problem.Whenever I charge my iPhone,there will be a gap of connector and it will not go inside fully.Maybe this is an issue of connector port.

Solved this issue now by cleaning the charging port using toothpick and pin.Now,my iPhone's connector is going in totally into the charging portIt had lots of dust in the connector and I couldn't resolve those issues.So,YouTube came into the rescue and those videos made me to clean the charging port using toothpick and SIM pin.

I'm happy with my iPhone after cleaning the port now.

Thinking to change my iPhone 6 with iPhone 7 or iPhone SE as I'm tired with its slow charging.I got nearly Rs.20K offer on my iPhone 6 16GB from flipkart if I exchange it for iPhone 7 32GB.The landing cost of iPhone 7 32GB after exchange of my 6 is Rs.38900 or else will go for iPhone SE 16GB as it costs Rs.27K as I don't have money to buy a 7.In that,you could buy 2 SE's instead of a 7.

Besides refreshing its iPad lineup with a new 9.7-inch iPad, Apple today also took the wraps off a new color variant for its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus — Red. This limited edition color variant is a result of Apple’s collaboration with (RED). The red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be up for sale in select countries with prices starting from $749 (Rs 48,900 approximately). Affordable 9.7-inch Apple iPad launched to replace iPad Air

Apple today did refresh its iPad lineup. But instead of four new models, the company has unveiled only one new 9.7-inch iPad. Facing some strange issue with my iPhone 6.Till Monday,it was fine but since last night it has starting acting up weirdly.It is not getting switched on when I put the phone for charging.Held the power+lock button hard and still nothing got solved.I got frustrated with it after doing this for numerous times.So,thinking to change my 6 with new one.

I tried charging it from computer also and no result.Still it didn't get switched on.

Problem solved.The real culprit was cable wire.Bought new one now and its working fine but charging time is more.I guess I have to buy a new charger(iPad one).
