Disappointed with iPhone 8.Its almost an iPhone 7 with glass backside and buying an iPhone 7 makes sense for me now rather than going for iPhone 8 and X.

I have decided that iPhone 7 or 7 Plus will be my next new phone.

Keynote was Nice. Loved the way Apple arranges everything. But all of the information was already available on tweeter & FB so nothing was new still Apple manages to keep up the hype.
One thing i hated is adding new name to 7S & 7S Plus. Its not a new design & Apple named them a new number that is iPhone 8 & 8 Plus.
Apple india website shows launch date as 29.9 so may be they will release it in India on same date as US.
P.S.- iPhone X will be available in India on 3rd Nov 17 as Apple india site shows the launch date as 3rd Nov 17. Got pricing details from one of the special Apple lover & retailer. Adding that in this post, if someone is interested then PM me so i will provide his contact. He has shop in Thane Mumbai.

Apple to remove malicious and misleading apps from the App Store: New guidelines announced

Whenever we get a new phone it is obvious that we would probably want to download apps for our new device. But the problem lies in choosing the apps since there are a lot of apps available for an Android or an iOS smartphone.

However, the main problem that we may encounter is not the choice of apps but misleading or malicious apps that damage our smartphones. While Google has been actively working on removing such apps from its Play Store, Apple has just announced that it has updated its developer app review guidelines to make sure the App Store is safe and free from misleading apps.

Updated iPad Mini 3 32GB to iOS 11.There is nothing much improvement apart from new control center.Yet to update my iPhone 6 to iOS 11 as I had given my phone for screen replacement and will be picking up the phone tomorrow.

BTW,hows the camera app in iOS 11 for iPhone?I feel Apple hasn't updated much on iPhone 6.

And,planning to buy myself an iPhone 7 32GB in Jet Black(yes now available in 32GB too) soon as I didn't like 8 and X.

iOS 11 don't have 3D Touch for Multitasking feature from day one. Many people complaint about it to Apple. Now Apple confirmed that that feature is due in upcoming iOS 11 updates coming in future, they didn't provide that in iOS 11 due to some technical issues.

I am not a software developer OR some sort of coding developer but as per my understanding it will be a coding work which already there in previous versions of iOS so Apple just need to put that codes in iOS 11 & it will work, right?
Lets see Apple bring that feature in upcoming updates OR not as I am missing it a lot.

Correct. 3D touch at left side of the screen used to bring all running apps view. Same can be done through home button also. 3D touch part is missing on ios 11. But I like the new control center as now I can switch on and off mobile data from CC directly.

Also the signal bars are now look traditional as other phones than earlier series of dots. But I liked the previous representation.

And,finally updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 11 yesterday and battery drain is much when not in use.Yesterday, when I used it for a brief time,it was at 100% and today morning when I got up,it came down to 87%.

And,got my screen replaced along with new home button and rear camera too as rear camera was not working and phone is ready to go for another few months and will be trading with iPhone 7/7+ as I didn't like 8 and X is too expensive for me.

Brough iPhone SE Rose Gold 32GB for my wife. Got it for Rs 19k from Amazon India. I feel it is better deal than iPhone 6 32GB at Rs 27K. iPhone SE got internals from iPhone 6S so it is faster than iPhone 6.

BTW got Assembled in India iPhone SE.[:D]
My cousin got iPhone SE 32GB made in India in Space grey recently by replacing his One Plus 3T.He got good price on his OP3T,hence he sold it off and got SE at 20K after 5K cashback. He is now feeling happy after coming from Android to iPhone as he used to have iPhone 4S and that was his last iPhone he used and he went to Androids and he used to have Samsung A-series phones and since 2015,he became loyal to One Plus as he had bought One Plus One,One Plus 2,One Plus 3T and his wife has One Plus 3.He felt OP5 was not a good upgrade from OP3T hence he got iPhone SE replacing his OP3T.

Don't want to go in the discussion on which one is better but as per my requirement iPhone suits me the BEST. One Plus on the other hand is a good phone but I really hate to use droid so no option except iPhone.[;)]

One thing I noticed for iPhone 8, 8 Plus & iPhone X that Apple said they have used the Best & toughest glass till date on any smartphone but when you check videos on youtube where they tried Drop test & scratch test on iPhone 8/8 Plus and it scored really bad.
Some tested iPhone 8 Plus against Note 8 and with that curve display I thought Note 8 will be first one to get shattered glass but actually Industry toughest glass iPhone 8 Plus shattered first. [cry]

Lets see what Apple will do with iPhone X as its the Best from Apple and coming soon.

But in my opinion this is really shameful to Apple. Hope Apple will explain it soon.

Apple and Patanjali are similar[lol]
Both lie through their teeth about exclusivity but every component/ingredient is manufactured by third party companies.
Both promote their product through persons who know nothing about the product [Apple- Phil Schiller, BS Biology / Patanjali - Ramdev , Yoga Guru(?!)],
Both have their set of gullible target customers.
The difference is Patanjali products are priced lower than competitors and they pack their product in country of origin.

I like people like you, know nothing but act like master. [clap]

Most of the time I have seen people who hate Apple & their products are with out any solid reason and that gives me reason to laugh.

BTW both companies have superb product base in the market which are kicking A** of competition.

P.S.- iOS 11.0.1 is available for download. Downloading & installing it on my iPhone's.

Coming from a Sheeple, that’s ironic! [:)]
Let me see if I can reason with you. Let’s take the latest I’Phoney’.
• The Bionic chip is not a ‘breakthrough’, it is a 10mm AI chip manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductors. In fact it also supplies to Huawei. BTW, Huawei’s Kirin chip set is superior to Bionic as it has 5.5 billion transistors as against 4 billion in ‘iPhoney’s Bionic.
• The ‘breakthrough’ camera and stacked sensors are manufactured by Sony
• The ‘gorgeous’ OLED screen is manufactured by Samsung, among others.
• The NAND memory is supplied by Sandisk and supplemented by Samsung
• DRAM is manufactured by Micron technology Inc
• RF transceiver manufactured by Qualcomm
• Transmit Modules and PAM manufactured by Broadcom Ltd and Skyworks Solutions Inc
• Processor power Management by Dialog Semiconductors Gmbh
• Wireless charging element by Broadcom ltd
• Baseband IC by Qualcomm
• NFC Controller by NXP Semiconductors
• Even Audio Codecs is not Apple’s! It is given by Cirrus Logic Inc
• WLAN/BT Modules by Murata
• Fingerprint, accelerometer, Gyroscope by ALPS Electric Co. ltd
• Barometer , Color Sensor , Proximity sensors by Bosh Sensortec Gmbh
• Battery Pack by Huizhou Desay Battery Co. Ltd. (LG will supply all future ‘L’ shaped battery)
All these are put together by Foxconn in Shenzhen, China. Even the 'Designed by Apple' is etched in China!
The average Bill of Materials (BoM ) for the latest iPhoney is only $ 280.
If even now you are not convinced that you are paying for hyperbole (even allowing for expenses over and above BoM), and not the product, then you are nothing but a willing sucker.
P.S.- iOS 11.0.1 is available for download. Downloading & installing it on my iPhone's.
Good. You may get few years old Android features atleast now[lol]
