Huawei open to Nokia deal but says Windows mobile remains weak
Huawei would consider buying Nokia to help it become the world’s leading smartphone maker, according to the head of the Chinese telecom group’s consumer business.
“We are considering these sorts of acquisitions; maybe the combination has some synergies but depends on the willingness of Nokia. We are open-minded,” said Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei’s consumer business group, ahead of a glitzy launch of its latest premium smartphone, the Ascend P6, in London.
Mr Yu predicted that the smartphone market would consolidate to about three or four companies – and warned that Microsoft’s Windows phone platform used by Nokia as well as Huawei was “weak”. Huawei has mostly adopted Google’s Android operating system for its smartphones.
Whether Windows Phone [will be] successful is difficult to say – it has a very small market share. [Windows Phones] are weak but still require a licence fee. That’s not good. Android is free.”

Got the L720. Great. Yet to check the camera. But.. Scrolling lags? You will lag when scrolling slowly. Raja, do you have the same problem? Did you get an update or so?

I have never experienced any kind of scroll lag in my L620 and it shouldn't be on L720 too unless you have loaded the phone with full of apps![[:)]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Smile.gif "Smile [:)]")

Any idea? Scrolling lag too much when slowly scrolling, everywhere.
And camera, not upto the expectations. S3 provides better images sometimes.
And poor screen quality? I'm comparing it with an S3.
sorry dear my phone dosent lag while scrolling , this is for the first time i heard that there is a lag in scrolling .

S3 was the flagship not so long ago, 720 is a mid ranged handset which got the hype here coz of raja. even if the phone has issues, raja wont never post any.
so i do not understand why you downgraded yourself by buying this handset.
Brother Why should I post issues if I have not faced any ? Do you post that your android razer slutters and lags ?
I have not suggested anyone to buy any phone . Comparing a 17,000 rs phone to a 27,000 phone is indeed not wise .
The 72o has a ips display and s3 has amoled there will be a difference .
The 720 has 6 mega pixel camera and s3 has 8 mega pixel . The s3 is compared with 920 and not 720 .
Any sensible comparison must be made between the 72o with galaxy grand , Sony xperia L and phones which come in price range of 15,000-18,000 rs and not phones which are plus 25,000.
There are many members here who have bought lumia phones ask them if the phone lags while scrolling .
I request humbly hence forth kindly please don't put accusations and allegations on me .

my 1st line was "you are comparing apples with oranges"
wrt my other lines, i still maintain what i wrote. i can bet my **** that every phone owner faces some issue or not irrespective of the brand. some get highlighted more and some don't, nothing is perfect my friend.

My friend I agree that nothing is perfect , but my 720 doesn't lag while scrolling belive me . If possible incase you are around some electronic shop do check the 720 and see if it lags while scrolling .
The applications which are heavy take a bit of time to open relatively compared to a 820 or 920 but then that's a given since the 720 is a mid range affordable phone and relatively compared to the competetion does have a better camera , and fluid performance .
There is nothing wrong in reporting any issues , but for that atleast let me face some issues first . When Iam not facing any issues as of now ( its just a month old phone ) why should I agree or post something which actually will be misleading .
