Evleaks has been able to cough up some specs for the Motorola Moto X, and the usually reliable source says the eagerly awaited device will come to market with a screen offering resolution of 720 x 1280. A dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor will power the phone which will include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. A 10MP camera is on back with a 2MP front-facing shooter and Android 4.2.2 is installed.
That dovetails with much of the information that our source has been telling us about the phone including the 720p resolution and the dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that is seen running the show. Our source has also confirmed the 2GB of RAM, but is looking for 32GB of native storage on the unit along with a 4.7 inch screen
This will not be the Samsung Galaxy S4 challenger that many hoped it would be, but Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside has hinted at some interesting features that will be offered by the Motorola Moto X.
"We know when it’s in your pocket, we know when it’s in your hand, it’s going to know when you want to take a picture and fire up the cameras… The device will know when you’re in the car and it’s moving at 60mph and you’ll interact with it differently, more safely."-Dennis Woodside, CEO, Motorola
The model will be available this summer and will be the first smartphone built in the U.S. The Motorola Moto X will be assembled in Fort Worth, Texas.

Bluetooth SIG listing shows new 7-inch Nexus tablet alongside spec details
After dropping by the FCC a couple of days ago, the ASUS K009 -- a new "Nexus"-branded tablet, according to FCC documents -- has appeared in a tiny photo at the Bluetooth SIG. It's rectangular and tablet-shaped, with a front-facing camera... and that's about all you can tell. Squint really hard and you might be able to make out the outline of the screen, which seems to indicate slightly less bezel than on the existing Nexus 7.
But it isn't all tiny, illegible pictures -- the Bluetooth SIG listing also contains an interesting paragraph about the new Nexus 7's internal specs.
The document confirms the presence of a 7-inch LED-lit display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU. That contradicts FCC documents, which specify a slightly less speedy Snapdragon S4 Pro chip instead. It's possible the similarities in part numbers (the S4 Pro is APQ8064, the 600 is APQ8064T) may be to blame. In our opinion the Snapdragon 600 is the more likely candidate, considering the probable launch timing.
Other specs gleaned from the FCC filing include a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 4,000mAh battery and 4G LTE connectivity. Elsewhere, a 1920x1080 display resolution has been rumored, however that information has yet to appear anywhere official.
With the device in the hands of regulatory bodies, hopefully we won't have too long to wait before the new Nexus 7 becomes official. And if the reported specs are accurate, we're sure it'll be a day-one purchase for many Android fans.
