@nithin thanks but I was wondering if I could sell the n8 outside for more than 2k. I've seen n8 postings on olx for around 7k, so I'm hoping to sell it for 4-5K

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.GoogleCamera

• Photo Spheres for immersive 360º views
• Lens Blur mode for SLR-like photos with shallow depth of field
• Panorama mode with high resolution
• 100% viewfinder for getting the maximum resolution from the sensor (no dropped pixels)
• Updated UI that gets out of your way and is centered on an extra large capture button
• Works on phones and tablets running Android 4.4+ KitKat

Under 7000 , you get most of the features you want. Budget phone with a good 4.3" ! Nokia 520 would be the most affected phone i guess.
Soon Motorola will grab a good market share ! They got almost 30000+ phone imported ! 1GB RAM on android is must these days and Moto E got it !

Flash & front cam is not a let down when you get this for 6999Rs. If it was priced around 9K, then we could have complained

I think all manufactures (including Indian ones) will be hit with Moto E !

Thinking of ordering one after few days

you cant go wrong with a moto thou this phone is from lenovo.
moto in india always had a great fan following and after google's moto G, moto has made deep inroads with its killer specs, pricing and durability.

the same momentum will carry on with moto E since their selling partner flipkart is a great retailer itself and knows how to market and advertise. Full front page ads of moto E in all national dailies is enough to create a buzz for a phone priced below 7k. I doubt anyone else would do full page ads for a sub 7k phone.

I myself am an avid moto fan and had imported a droid razr from US before my current HTC One. It was a beast of a device and I really felt bad when moto shut shop in India.

@Nitin

BTW, how is the performance of the MotoG which you bought for your mother and also write about Celerio in its related thread
my mom is more than happy with moto G. It took her a while to understand android but now she is no more a novice. I purchased another moto G for my Uncle and he is another happy moto user. Battery backup is excellent and display + size of mobile is apt. My mom easily gets 2 days of battery backup with wifi always on.

Issue with other cheap and not so cheaply priced androids which people buy to get a feel of android per se, are not tuned in terms of cores and specs and battery. Most people will go for a 5" screen without realizing that battery is only@ 1500mAH or thereabouts with 512mb ram. If you remember your mobile thread, i clearly stated - look at ram + battery backup before you buy an android.

This is where moto G specs are remarkable. Quad core, snapdragon processor, 1 gb ram + battery above 2000mAH with screen size of 4.5" + latest version of android is seriously good. It ticks all the parameters which a decent phone should have.

+1000, Yes this is very much true, even I have come to know the battery issue after I bought L 620 for which some 1300-1400 mah is not enough, but 512 ram is okay as with its windows optimisation, but I recommond 1GB atleast for any operating system and a person fairly use the internet and others. This is where I bought a DC 16 nokia power bank recently which gives me some 2300mah more back up.

Moto E looks to be a killer offering from MOTO[clap] and looks like Moto is back in the race again

Just got the phones, it seems surprisingly decent though twice thicker than GS3 but cant complain at the price, seems reasonably well built. Camera isnt great, at the price it seems phenomenal value. Both will be gifted.
