An issue is C4C in bridged mode has 280w RMS (DD Audio are always underrated so might give out 300-320w RMS) while Focal subwoofer is rated at 250w RMS only. Will the subwoofer get burned?
That is because it is getting more than required power. Don't play on high volumes too long, if you keep this mind and follow it, there won't be any issues in the future. BTW 300 watts is not that much of power which can damage any sub rated 250 watt, even 350 won't.

Actually it was powered directly from a low cost HU buddy. Lets see how it sings after hooking it up with Kappa 4 which hs 125w RMS per channel while Polk DB6501 has 100w RMS. I am sure it will produce some mind blowing bass. Was blown off after hearing there bass even though they were powered of HU directly.

Now why am I finding this hard to gulp. A 100 RMS driver producing "mind blowing bass" when played off directly from the HU that too an entry level who usually have 40 something RMS.

Enrty level HU? My HU is 5590BT mate which comes second only to 8490BT in Pioneer Touch screen lineup. Definitely not entry level HU with 3 4V pre-outs buddy.
Regarding Polk Audio components i was also stunned by the bass the mid drivers produced when we tested them. Some audio gurus told me not to look at specs but listen to real thing and do an audition every time. It's very true specs explain nothing until you personally hear them and sometimes low spec models are surprise you a lot. I have come across a component from Sundown Audio C6.5 6.5" component speakers which is rated at 60w per side only but felt underpowered even after feeding them 100w per channel. At 150w per channel they produced bass comparable to 8" subwoofers. Now my friend feeds the components 150w rms daily and has not faced an issue till now. Specs don't mean anything now a days i guess.

Buddy don't get offended but 2 din HUs are not even close to a 1din simple SQ HU. That's why @Freakdude said this. I agree with him, 2Din HUs are made keeping the focus on Video and looks of HU in mind, SQ is always kept on 2nd priority in case of 2din HU.
I have personally heard those compos i too like them for the bass produced by them in my friend's punto and they are also getting powered via HU directly.

Frankly speaking i don't know so can't comment on single din or 2-din HU. I wnet for 5590Bt basically because i didn't want another screen in my dash. i already have a couple of screens and that's enough. If i didn't need a reverse cam, the next HU in my option would have been Pioneer P-80PRS.
Yes even when powered by HU they produced some good bass. Lets see how they will sing when i feed them 125w of power from Kappa 4. Installer said i might need to damp the parcel tray as this compos would surely bring rattling once i install them and power them through Kappa 4. Don't know if it's true or not.
I think you (sankar) got confused with freakdude's statement.
You read again with what he has quoted.
In first post, you have mentioned 'mind blowing bass' and in second 'even powered of directly by HU'.

In first post, you have mentioned 'mind blowing bass' and in second 'even powered of directly by HU'. So how a low quality HU can produce 'mind blowing bass' was his doubt.
He quoted those posts. He never mentioned that your HU is low quality one etc.
No Appus, I think what freakdude meant was that when this compos are powered directly by HU it only receives 17-18w RMS power while speaker has 100w RMS and he was surprised how then the compos produced mind blowing bass.

Rear parcel tray have been completed. Also amplifier was designed for my car's dimensions and the products look cool. Just the front face of both amplifiers will be displayed. Not even a single wire will be displayed and also blue led lighting will be given to both amplifiers. Lets see what happens when the install gets over probably by 16th or 17th August.
