DIY Changing coolant on my Ford Figo

Check with Toyota dealer. They have Elf LLC. @Auto_Psycho used it on his Beat if I remember right.
a big thanks to @ deville_56 for guiding me.

Thankfully Toyota dealer was very helpful.

Fulfils all my requirements. Made for Lexus it seems. Pink colour all right.

Made for Toyota, can be used for Lexus [lol]. Brand is Golder Cruiser. They also supply for Maruti.

But the packing says Toyota every where.

OEM packing. 90% OE parts won't have any clue of the vendor.

I think the label near price says manufactured by SCCI or something for Toyota. That's the manufacturer of Golden Cruiser and bottle shape is same as GC. Maruti Ecstar bottle also the same shape.

DIY Changing coolant on my Ford Figo

Do a coolant flush (Empty the radiator can, clean it well, I am sure it will have muck, then add coolant)..
Coolant bottle had lots of debris inside.Initially tried to clean by sucking out debris ,but ultimately had to take out the whole bottle and wash it with soap and detergent.
The drained coolant also had lot of mud like deposits.I collected all the coolant in a bottle.
Total 3 liters of coolant was drained and exactly 3 litres was put inside.

Coolant bottle removed. I am lucky its not cracked anywhere. I have heard horror stories about repeated coolant bottle cracks and difficult repairs & spares

plaque like deposit inside, due to old coolant /tap water

Do not use tap water

Any new coolant , will be 10 times better than the watery 11 years old coolant-water mix, filled in the car.

Yes it's 5 litres. But the max amount drained was 3-3.25 litres only. So basically I mixed new 3 litres with older 2 litres.
I don't know how to displace that 2 litres out.
Other than running the engine for maybe 20 seconds, with lower radiator pipe disconnected. Very dangerous and not recommended.

That'e engine lubrication/engine oil. Engine cooling system is down in the bottom, 5 L/1.1 gallon.

Do you have any trick up your sleeve, for solving this problem?
How did you manage to do it in your Fiesta?

I'm now sceptical about using premixed coolant, at least on Fords as a DIY.

The solution I think will be using concentrate. Searched for LLC concentrate and found Shell EasyCare (which sadly wasn't available on Amazon). After a couple of flushes with pure water until clear and assuming 1.75-2 L clean water is remaining in the system, have to mix another 3-3.25 L such that the final 5 L will have the specified ratio per the coolant manufacturer.

That is a solution but it's difficult to quantify. Measuring the water I have put in the system is a guess. Mixing concentrate with water hoping to achieve exactly the same ratio of premixed is guessing too.
More over it's very time consuming. Fill water, run warm. Drain, again fill water, again warm up, again drain, then after few more such cycles add concentrate. Still won't be very sure that I have achieved the exact required concentration. Too many Guess. Too many variables.

I do it this way. Take OEM coolant premixed. Drain as much as possible. Fill New premixed. Drive for 1000 kms. Repeat drainage and fill New. Done.
If you still feel like repeat next year.
In this way coolant is getting purer and newer after every cycle.
Not many Guesses. Not much time consuming. Just straight forward.

I feel really uncomfortable pumping water into the cooling system meant for coolant only, knowing fully well that I can now never make that plain water to come out.
I will always prefer 3 litres New coolant mixing with 2 litres older coolant left in the system, and then repeat that cycle.

Today evening car engine was very hot and AC was cutting off again and again. On opening the hood found the coolant boiling. After 1 hr when it cooled down, I opened the coolant cap, and there I found that in place of coolant only very dilute coloured water is present. I mean its consistency was just like plain water.
I went through the entire service history of past 11 years and I could not find a single mention about coolant change. This means only one thing. Coolant has never-ever been changed in past 11 years !!
Car is running on the same coolant filled from the factory 11 years ago !!
I supposed all these years it was only topped up with water.
With unsure about what was in there previously, I think a full flush is the better way to go.

That is a solution but it's difficult to quantify. Measuring the water I have put in the system is a guess. Mixing concentrate with water hoping to achieve exactly the same ratio of premixed is guessing too.
A bit more concentration won't be a problem.
