My Fiesta is serving like a workhorse and it’s been months since I cleaned her well. So I have placed an order for Turtle Liquid Wax from Snap Deal. This is for the first time I’ll be using a liquid wax. I’m also looking to purchase Armor All Tyre Foam but it’s out of stock at the moment. I’ll post the feedback post-waxing.

I too had ordered turtle wax hard shell from snapdeal and have already used it 4 times on my cars After reading this thread i saw the mfd onthe case and it was 2010
Is it safe to use ?
Also i can see some swirl marks on my silver coloured car( a colour which masks swirls very well ), can it be due to turtle wax which i have applied once only ??

@allhyundaicars; Are you using turtle wax???

If they are fabric type, just remove and give for dry-wash. Stains should go.
Else use some foam/gel to clean. But it might not be 100% fruitful if stains are deep.

Ansuman it is fabric type. But do you suggest to remove it completely? It is not an additional cover in fabric. its just a seat as it is from manufacturer.

Oh, sorry I thought it was a seat cover put additionally. Then you have to use some foam / carpet cleaner etc.

Get some white petrol ( a common term used by drycleaners) dab on a sponge or a cotton swab and gently run on the dirty areas. Do this in open so that the covers dry side by side.

@FD, Thanks.

But where do we get White Petrol generally. I used to think that it is used for applications like flights and not available in open market

You are correct in thinking of it's usage in aeroplanes. But the one I am talking is JUST called white petrol [;)]. You can get it from any shop that sells chemicals or can even ask your drycleaner to get a bottle for you. It's not very costly.
