Are there any difference between metallic and non metallic ? If I choose white, only non metallic white available. I haven't seen silver grand. Will see that.

Non metallic shades are solid colors like Red, Dark Blue, Black, Gray. They are made of mixing solid colors.

Like for Orange: Red + Yellow + White.

Metallic colors are made solid colors + Silver color for sparkle. In any solid color if Silver is added then it becomes metallic. Same goes for Golden & Bronze too.

See, White has no comparison to metallic colors since its a base color. If that is the only shade available then go for it. But, you'll have to take great care of it.

Comparing White to Metallic color is like comparing Vanilla to Chocolate Chip!

No-one can maintain the White color as it is forever. It gets off-white in due course. Dirt and Scratches look extremely pronounced in White and Black color. Paint touch up of White is difficult too. I would say, go for a Silver color, 8 years of experience with an Esteem speaking!

11 Years of Experience on Optra!

My Optra too was a Silver one i.e Lightening Silver. The paint quality of Chevrolet was excellent. This Silver in Optra had so much shine that in sunlight those Silver sparkles were visible too. Wipe it once and its done. No special care needed!

Yes,Same here.Paint quality on Chevy is Awesome.I used to take lot of Photos on Dad's iPhone.Both on Nexia and Optra.Daewoo Paint quality was nothing to talk about but Daewoo's White for Cielo and Peacock Green for Matiz,The Quality was Very Good.Hyundai had Good Quality paint from the Starting but Paint in Santro wasn't good.
