Re: The Mighty Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Drives In [4K Kms Crossed]

That's like going to a Michelin 5 star restaurant in Paris and asking for a plate of vada pav.

There is no end to greed:biggrin:.
Indeed, but i bet this might be the only one which satiates hunger in michelin star restaurant while the rest simply tickle your buds and empty your wallet [lol]

But on a serious note, what i was implying is the AC of the Pajero Sport is a guzzler on fuel if not used judiciously.

Btw here is a nice trail video i was watching yesterday on youtube, loved this trail, all natural and very beautiful - exactly how it should be!

err Ghajini problem , forgot, ill get back to you after asking the guy i bought from. :stupid:
Kinshuk it was some 3.6k for set of 3 - sorry for the late revert. To be honest, its fairly average or below average, i am going to buy something better to replace it eventually.

5k kms crossed

Tested the higher rpm ranges briefly on my last run, must say its supremely stable - it was done only to check vibrations and behavior briefly. I am eagerly waiting for a next service wherein ill be changing the fluids - by that time running in would have been well and truly done.

IR, The Four Wheel Drive indicator will show all wheels green when you are in 4H or 4L? And when you are in 4X4 mode the ratio is 50:50 front and rear or front just kicks in when traction is lost on rear wheels?

Na na na , this is not AWD or on demand torque types , this is proper 4x4 mate, yes the 4 lights will come up from mode 4H onwards, from HLc even the centre orange lights comes up.
In this post of mine i have explained in detail - this should help.

The latest generation Pajero Sport also has rear differential locks which unfortunately i dont have![roll]

Adding the Highway Ranger special sticker, love it! It looks brilliant! Kudos sir!

I think the differential locks would be an easy retrofit. Ask the HM guys when you take the Red Baron for replacing the fluids.

I am just glad they are open to service vehicles!

This time i got the worst FE on a tank-full amidst all the fuel ups so far 11.47 kmpl - probably due to more ghat driving and bad roads run.

Nothing else to report , not even a pip squeak!

6K kms crossed this morning and chugging along [drive]! The second service is due within a month now - all essential fluids will be replaced, waiting eagerly for it !

The last tankful got 12.33 kmpl. Unlike other cars where the MID is over optimistic, the Pajero MID is usually 0.5 kmpl or so on the lower side or accurate - never on the higher side so far compared to tankful readings.

Only 2 mods done do far, an oem cruise control imported from thailand and some DRL moustache - I am not really a mod person, but will be conservatively open to it, if i find anything good.

FE is OK , but greedy Dil Maange more. The harder part is to drive it in a way to get FE - that doesnt come easy.[:D]
