Re: The Mighty Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Drives In [3K Kms Crossed]

Hey IR how much did those 3 pairs of DRLs cost you?
err Ghajini problem , forgot, ill get back to you after asking the guy i bought from. :stupid:

Your Paj in Red looks majestic indeed.
I too was thinking of getting my beast DRLed. But certainly not 6 of them, just a pair would do the job
Thank you sir! I did start with one LED pair, but it would have looked like charlie chaplin's moustache on this - i went overboard with 3 . But importantly did it as Pune is a city of two wheelers and i want to alert every one on the road not to come near, the colour of the car does half the job [;)] - planning to put a howitzer on top as a warning as well.

Hi IR. your Pajero looks absolutely stunning in Red. I have never liked any more in red more than your Paj..

It looks so solid and stunning. I have been staring at the pics of your Paj for a long time and trying to capture totally in my mind.

I like storme a lot due to its outlook but, your paj definitely is a winner any day!

Don't scare me, sirji.
BTW, one of the half moustache on the left (in pic) seems to be a bit misaligned. After having it stuck in place, treat us with a picture with the flood lights on[embarass]

Thanks mastiandroid, there are plenty of pics on the official review thread, check those out as well in case you havent.

Manoj yes one of the moustaches measure wind speed as well [lol] - the damn clamps are so crap , i intend to change them when i find a right one, my challenge is i dont want to drill any holes, it has to clamp to the grill nice and snug!

How is the Apollo Tyres doing? Here in Kuwait, the Pajero Sports comes with BS Dueler. Duelers are more common, and also available in Toyota Models. My friend's vehicle is with Dunlop Tyres. He said it is not good as that of Duelers.

Absolutely spot on - they are as diverse as chalk and cheese, who wants the same car anyways [;)] - but its this diversity which made me make the decision.
They have opposite strengths, what the xuv has the pajero doesnt and vice versa.

I have heard mixed things about the apollo - so cant say for sure, they sure are cheap native brand, to be honest i did look at changing the tires when i bought the car, but unfortunately the replacement were way too old and deal didnt happen in time.

I will move to a something even better next time, i dont know how long this will last, generally in my hands tires last for a long time. For my consolation these are atleast AT.

I was talking to a tyrewallah the other day and he told me that Apollos are better than Duelers as far as longevity is concerned.

But of course much depends on tyre type, type of vehicle, driving pattern/habit, etc.

The last 2 FE cycles on a full tank to full tank basis :-

1) 13.69kmpl
2) 12.97 kmpl

The no.2 was a full cycle with AC on and i noticed the FE did drop, but still not too much to bother me. One thing that did strike me is Pajero air con does not have an exclusive economy switch - something that would have given tiny benefit. Its trundling towards the 5k mark now - absolute no nonsense vehicle - not even a whimper.

That's like going to a Michelin 5 star restaurant in Paris and asking for a plate of vada pav.

There is no end to greed:biggrin:.
