cooldaya i haven't placed any mat over the 3d mats in the snaps.
truecity lover the switch is at the 6 o'clock position at the beginning of the fuel inlet in my car.
safety of filling to the brim I don't know for sure.
use- once fully filled i get a longer time for my next fill.( i usually fill up at mahe where the price of diesel is rs3/ lesser than at kannur ) also the price of booze is also lesser, hence its also called the paradise of TAI ans & tipplers [lol]
the guy who sold the mats are mr. sathyajith dutt, evo blue raven ( must be his accessory shop ) mobile no 919845376094

Thanks a lot for your info. Will check out in my car if it is there. Akash said that all modern cars have it. Need to explore more about my car i guess [cry] .

I will check out with the person about the mat for sure. Checked other sources and found: EVO- pit shop of Satya (Blueraven), Bangalore. Seems like he is a famous guy in b'lore.

just a couple of weeks ago got my new vento- ipl edition. and m already in love with it:D
i lack the knowledge that you guys have on cars and automobiles and headsoff to you all guys.

Congrats on the purchase and your fittings. My boss has just booked a Vento and will get it this week. I am hoping to ride in it soon.

filled up diesel. the new mileage is 17kmpl.the roads in my area has broken down as the monsoon is very heavy. most of the riding is in 1, 2 & 3 rd gears. the lower part of the body has several spots of tar . while servicing they first wash of the tar with diesel. ( from my previous experiences ) will it in any way damage the paint work ? from morning till 3.50 pm my car sits out in the rain as there are no enough car sheds in my place of work.hope it will not cause any rusting.

Thats a decent mileage for the gear shift you are using during this season. Nice to know that you car is doing great withour creating holes in your pocket.

This will not damage any paint work unless they use some brush to rip off the tar. VW has a good standard for its paint job. So, you can stop worrying about it buddy [glasses].
Once monsoon is over, you can consider having a Teflon coating done. BTW, have you done anti corrosion painting in the underbody?
