Re: The 2014 Honda City
Evolutionary is good news for me. The current arrow shot design is actually great - I don't mind if Honda continues with 90% of it for the shell. They might just change the grille, front airdams and alloy wheels to match the new Jazz/Fit.
Some interior features I think are a must not only to compete with rivals, but to differentiate with Amaze :
1. Climate Control in S/MT
2. Bluetooth phone+audio support in non-AVN trims too
3. Steering mounted bluetooth controls in S/MT
4. Keyless entry/push-button start in V/MT
Features I hope they will provide:
1. A six airbag version for V/MT - I'll pay extra to get the safest trim, even if I abhor the extra chrome ;-)
2. Pinch guard for rear windows too - the rear windows, where children sit, really needs this feature more than the driver window, where the current City provides it
3. Tilt and telescope adjust for steering - the City has become increasingly popular as a self-driven vehicle, as it becomes more affordable for Indian middle class, and the chauffeur driven types moving to more expensive D+ segment vehicles. Therefore, good driver ergonomics are a must.
