The lights glow only for a few seconds when you feel the power loss. Post that the lights don't lit up.

The lights don't come up at all and I experience this when the car is in 4th or 5th gear. When there is loss of power, it's like, it doesn't respond to throttle input at all. The car seems to be like dead, though the engine is ON. I have to downshift, or switch off the AC button, to keep moving. There is no change with the display or error lights during this. Also noted that this happens most frequently driving during afternoon with AC at 2 or 3 speed.

Hi What about your petrol smell in the car issue? Has that been sorted out?

Did the PDI of my zest xt rt today. Everything seems fine with the car. Will be taking delivery tomorrow.
VIN is MAT******GPD*****. So, seems April'16 manufactured.
One thing I found is that I am getting the 8 spoke alloys. Have read somewhere that only 16 spoke ones are provided now by TATA. Hence confused. Can someone please confirm?

Congrats Metalhead, Zest XT is a great car.
The 8 spoke alloy too I like. However, the 16 spoke gives a sedan kind of an appeal.

Temp no.: 2000
Discount: free insurance, 5000 corporate, 10,000 welcome bonus, 22k around dealer discount.
Got mud flaps, mats, temple and perfume as free accessories.
As per SA, now tata are giving 8 spoke alloys with zest. Didn't argued much as I personally liked the 8 spoke design compared to the 18 spoke ones.

Discount of a total of around 64K is great. Super value you got for an already VFM car. The Grey color of the zest looks the best to me.

Guys, two queries here.
I accidentally bumped car and the paint has peeled off and the black metal part can be seen. Which is the best car polish or wax to atleast reduce the scratches.
Secondly, which rear bumper protector, the one that looks like a black strip is better for zest.
If I had those there wouldn't have been any scratches in the first place.

You can try these out as shown. I had Black color bumper protectors on my car's bumpers.
Else you may check for transparent car protection kit, like one my car has now. It has door guards, bumper protectors and some more protectors for corners.
