Hi I m new to this forum, and was planning to book xms rt sky grey on Christmas day at aadya motors Bangalore but was told by the dealer that they do not have any in their stock and instead can get me xm white color. Can someone let me know if the scarcity actually exist or the dealer is pushing that model by creating artificial scarcity
Being year end, the dealer may be pushing the older car to clear the stock. that said you can always get the VIN (Vehicle identification number) from the dealer and check the car manufacturing date. It is ok if the car is about 2 months old. But if it more than 6 months old then you may have to check a few things if the odo reading is under 100 km. Else it could be a test drive car. See if you find any issues with car paints, body, wheels tyres etc. could be a car being rejected by prev buyers.

But it is not a bad option if you get great discounts for a 6 month old car. Older than 6 months. Ask for a new car. just for your info, the car price are due to increase in Jan, by 20k.

If you are not in a hurry to own a car then inform the dealer that you would want only the said color and model. Else do check out with other dealers in Bangalore and see what they have to say about your choice.

I took quotations from two dealers

One has a april 2015 model and has given a quote of 5.4L after exchanging my old car.

Other dealer has a november 2015 and has given a quote of 5.6L

Very confused

Coming to your query, If you are running 2200 kms per month then it purely boils down to the number of years you are looking to use the car.

Diesel has a premium of 1-1.3 lakhs over the petrol variant and with a running of 10,000 kms per year it would take you 6-7 years to break even with that running.

2200*12 = 26,000 kms approx so you will break even after 3-4 years approx.

So if you want to use the vehicle for more than 5 years its better to go for diesel.
Thanks for the reply I had also the same idea but looking at the delhis case and increasing traffic in pune thought this will be a safe bet so didnt took a risk lets see i am looking for the CNG fitting is positive the same alternate will be there in the zest sooner or later
Did you include accessories and gold AMC in the total on road price ?
No this dosent include both planning to for the Gold AMC once I am near 10L kms as really dont feel the need of going for once after doing the PDI
I got a quotation of 5,50,000 on road in hyderabad after deducting my santro's value of 1,05,000 and other discounts as you have mentioned earlier.

Your quotation is baffling. Did you get any other discounts ?

I am not sure how there's a 50,000 difference in the prices of pune and hyderabad.[frustration]
Hi Kishore the current discounts are on and they have mentioned on there official website too please have look at it.

Kishore, my pick will be Nov 2015 since its a brand new make at an additional cost of 20k. Go for the second option.
Kishore, I second Godfathers thoughts. Its is better to go for a brand new vehicle and 20K extra. It will be worth it. the vehicle is lying in the yard(s) of Tata motors or the dealer for more than 6 months.

I think you should get the a November made for 5.4 as well have you asked them for the Cash discount, Exchange Bonus, and Corparate discount as well. Try to negotiate with them.

Thanks guys i have opted to go with nov model
The 20,000 extra amount made the on road to 5.6lakh after all discounts
The dealership said i need to purchase mud flaps, foot mats, etc separately
Seat covers art leather 9000
Mud flaps 1000
Foot mats 1750
Body cover 1300
Reverse camera 13,000
These costs have to be paid apart from the 5.6 on road price
Not sure if they are that costly
I am looking to get the reverse camera from dealership so that he won't say warranty void
But 13,000 sounds too costly just for the camera

Everything is costly in this list.
Camera is exorbitantly costly and seat covers are costly too.

I got my seat covers done for my storme for around 5500 in Ramkote (in 2013). I had also obtained similar quote from the car accessories shop near hafeezpet. So for Zest i should be bit lower. Checkout aftermarket guys.

Concorde had quote exhorbitant 8000 for reverse sensors, I got it fixed from aftermarket for 3k. So better you do after market fitment. Ensure they dont cut the wire. Spilicing of the wire and connecting your sensor will work, However since you want to integrate with ICE I guess it will be better if you go with Tata.

There are different varieties available in this please check exactly what are they providing
This looks ok
Reverse camera 13,000
Go for after market I got a quote for 3500 for this

When are you taking the delivery I would suggest to wait for few days as the year is going to change and please do a through PDI

Before paying the amount I told the same thing to showroom guys.
Here is the experience
My companions : My wife and my kids
The salesperson provided me 2 vehicles for PDI
Both were Dec 2015 manufactured
I went to the there goodown and saw the vehicles
The biggest difference : One vehicle was having Bridgestone tires while other was having Apollo tires.
I did rest of the checks as per the TAI checklist( Really a wonderful job done by the TAI team. Thanks a lot team )
I went for the vehicle with Bridgestone tires.

This was very shocking to me as the tires are getting replaced from BStone to Apollo in some of the vehicles. The reason may be cost cutting not sure

I just came back from showroom I paid booking amount for the vehicle.

I went to their godown, the car didn't had any scratches and its a nov 2015 model.

I didn't check the tyres as by default almost all zests are having bridgestone.

Would there be any problems for warranty if I get reverse camera from outside ?

I took gold AMC for zest xms petrol
