Ok ... I got the quote from fortune cars, Panvel Maharashtra. Yes we may plan to get our old dzire exchanged in-leu for the new car. So yes, the effective OTR pricing will definitely come down.

that's sorry to hear. if scratches are light, they can be removed at home with rubbing compound and waxes polishing /buffing.

Completed 1025 kms on my Zest XMS RT. Out of which 800 kms were done on highways consisting of 80% Ghat section ( The konkan belt of Maharashtra ). The vehicle is absolutely great. Here are some pros and cons which I felt about the vehicle
Pros
1) Great Ground clearance 175 mm
2) Good Road presence
3) Revtron engine is really superb I must say TATA has really done a great Job. Though since the vehicle is in running in period I have not crossed 1500 RPM limit. But it climes all the ghats in 3rd and 4th gear. Really great deliver power whenever required.
4) Comfortable. Its very spacious
5) Great Music system
6) The final and the best part - superb mileage. Even though the most of the travel was on Ghats and nearly bad road the vehicle returned a mileage of 20 kmpl as per the Speedometer and also checked with Tank full method its almost same. Attaching the images of the speedometer
Cons
1) Very poor headlights really cannot see anything on highways ( A single lane highway with no divider and every one from opposite side always drive on high beam - Mumbai Goa highway)
2) On lower gears the vehicle get shut down if not on proper gears On the speed breakers when slowed down at the speed around 10 and shifted to second gear and tried the accelerate but the car stopped and had to again start and change the gear to first
Overall I am really completely satisfied with the car say this is the best car in this segment

1. upgrade the projectors with proper 4300k hid kits and problem be gone!
2. 10 or below is really not a speed for 2nd gear. even my i10 clips at those speeds. better use 1st gear for speed breakers.

I found the stock headlights of the Zest powerful. And in one lane highways, you can't see the roads properly, if the vehicles coming in the opposite are using high beam. This is normal. However if you feel to change the headlamps, either go for 100/90 lamps or HID setup as bhvm suggested.
Shift to first gear in speed breakers. Taking of at 10 Kmph @2nd gear requires slipping the clutch which will decrease the clutch life...

If we only want to replace the glass of the headlamp assembly, can it be done ?

I have seen people replacing the glass of tail lamp assembly though and rest of the assembly remains same. The only flip side of this jugaad is that the glass would turn yellow in due course and it would look bad and hamper the visibility buddy.
