I booked on Dashera 2nd Oct, the car was in yard before Diwali, but I took delivery on 2nd Nov. So it went as per the time given by dealer.

Wow that was pretty quick but considering it was XMS and a diesel variant I guess the speed of delivery can be understood.

It is with the top end models and mainly petrol variant that is getting long delay as per media reports.[frustration]

@all TML has found a fix for the "mud" issue and will be rolled out PAN India within 2 weeks as per TML official[:)]

Even I have received a confirmation on the same from TML official. They are going to install the fix in one week's time for me.

Guys,


Two things have been changed and the SA says that this has occurred after taking the customer feedback.
One is the beige fabric on the door pads have been replaced by coffee colored one's. Thoughtful move so that they don't get dirty.
Second, since all of us used to like the alloys on lower models, Tata has now accepted it and have changed the alloys. They are now providing the 18 spoke alloys on the XT which are present in lower models.
Congrats kiran.
It is good to hear TML is accepting the feedback focusing on customer satisfaction.
Last Saturday I went to Show room there SA told for top end models the door pad are beige fabric provided and for lower versions it is other colors.
May be ie why we are seeing different in door pads colors for different owners

AS Per SA they have meeting with their sales head,70% bookings for petrol and remaining are Diesel.
And also the production issue is there because of lack of air bag supply because most of the customers are opting for XMS or XT (between XM and XMS 20k price difference) so people are opting for airbags.
May be it is true becuase if we observe any other Car Manufacturer like MS,Honda,Hyundai they are giving airbags for top end models and charging more.

I'm really disappointed with Concorde Motors diary circle, the SA I was working with quit the company and gave me his manager Satish's number. Unfortunately Satish doesnt seem to bother, doesnt take my calls, doesnt callback like he promised. Last week he handed the phone to someone he claimed was TSM from TML who said they will give me my delivery date with Engine / Chasis no on 15th. As always, even this was a false promise. Don't know what to do now, it's really leaving a bad taste and I'm really frustrated. If this is their attitude Pre-sales, I dread to imagine the post sales experience.

It may take another week if yours is in that slot this is for who has booked in sept they have to deliver by 23rd nov and after that next slot is for who has booked the vehicles in October that is scheduled for Dec 1st week.

car loan has been sanctioned by SBI. I had directly contacted branch, submitted docs and they sanctioned it within a week. There is total processing fees waiver, but now they bank executive is asking me to pay Rs 700 for franking/stamp charges.

processing fees does not include these charges ? [confused]
shall I go ahead and pay these charges ?
Has anyone paid such charges for recently sanctioned SBI car loan ?

Shoot a mail to customer care. Seen their email id in this thread and heard the response was quick

Thanks Ravi Nalla ! what is interest rate SBI quoted for you ? how much you paid as franking charges etc ? can I negotiate the quoted interest rate ? I am holding savings a/c for many years
