Re: Tata Zest: Review | Test Drive | Pictures

Hey Friends

car loan has been sanctioned by SBI. I had directly contacted branch, submitted docs and they sanctioned it within a week. There is total processing fees waiver, but now they bank executive is asking me to pay Rs 700 for franking/stamp charges.

processing fees does not include these charges ? [confused]
shall I go ahead and pay these charges ?
Has anyone paid such charges for recently sanctioned SBI car loan ?

Thanks
Please go ahead and pay it. The charges are actually towards the Revenue Stamp Paper on which the loan agreement is supposed to be made. You would have ended up paying service tax and cess on the same if the bank has collected the money as processing fee from you.

Guyz,

Did anyone of you tried using SD card in the HK infotainment system? I tried using 2GB Sandisk Micro SD card with Motorola SD card adapter. But It didn't work. System did not read it.

Any suggestion?

Thanks Ravi Nalla ! what is interest rate SBI quoted for you ? how much you paid as franking charges etc ? can I negotiate the quoted interest rate ? I am holding savings a/c for many years
Hi,

i got 10.40%(on my wife's name, for male its 10.45%) interest, thats a final. no bargain. Actually i got through dealer, we went bank only sign the documents, rest of all taken care by dealer. The dealer took stamp charges as 1100/-. there is no other charges like processing fee.

I got 10.5 from Bank of Baroda and again no processing charges and no prepayment penalty. The loan will be sanctioned on whose name the car will be registered.

Hello guys
Got my blue XT revotron on Sunday. It's a wow car and a breeze to drive in traffic. I am loving my time with my Zest.

Will put pics and my view on the car in a weeks time, since I could not drive it much as there is no number on my vehicle yet and do not want to take any risk.

Keep you guys posted

I took it from Concorde, Dairy Circle, Bengaluru. Even though the delivery was a bit delayed, experience was good.

Dear All,
Since last few days, all the doors of my XM RT is not getting locked automatically when speed crosses 10 kmph. I have to do it manually from the driver side door lock.
Is there any solution?

Thanks,

Re: Tata Zest: Review | Test Drive | Pictures

Guys,

Today i contacted my dealer to check possibility to exchange my 8 spoke alloys with 18 spoke alloys since i like very much mid version(18spoke). But dealer said No. Now tata motors it self giving 18 spoke alloys for top end(XT). Anybody tried exchanging alloys?

i should have waited for 1 month to buy the car... for 18 spoke alloys...

Ravi, personally i like the 8 spoke alloy better than 18 spoke ones. According to me no need to change the alloys.
