India should have brought the Air Bag rule ages ago. The authorities didn't wake up because thousands on Indians are being killed every year due to lack of safety equipment but because every Indian car has failed EUNCAP and this news is now star of the global media and they(Indian Authorities) are ashamed of it.

Had been to Tata's regional office in Bangalore (been invited). The TSM has given me an appointment at the dealer location. I am going to provide my feedback on the product as well as the dealer experience in the presence of all who matters. Those who have got issues with the car can send me the details so that it can be addressed. Please don't ignore this. I am in such a position with TML that my voice is not going to be unheard. So please send me all your issues so that I can consolidate it by 12th November a day prior to my meeting.

Hello Wincy,
1. Please make sure they are working on fix for Mud in engine bay(MIEB) issue.
2. If they are really working on it, ask them to communicate to every dealer regarding it so that no customer who inquires about this issue should get an ignorant shoulder shrug.
3. Squeaking sound in steering occasionally.
4. Gear vibrations while accelerating

And don't miss to congratulate them for the superior ride quality and the best NVH levels they have achieved.

Please report "mud in engine bay" issue, its becoming worst. Till now no update from TATA. I hope they will it atleast at first service.

@Wincy, it would help if TML can provide customer with status of their booking. The SMS' they send is just generic stuff about car, instead it should talk about something like Order Status which these Ecommerce sites follow. This would help lot of customers who are in the dark about the status of their booking & also avoid someone from cancelling their booking due to lack of info.

@wincy, along with others mentioned things just check with them after booking we are not getting exact status of delivery and waiting period is more.
And the dealer should be more customer focused.

Does anyone have any idea about the waiting period of XT?
I have been waiting for Beige coloured XT for more than one and half months, still dont know by when I will be getting it.

Typically, the dealers are claiming 4-6 weeks for XT

Hi Debasis the usual waiting period as per TML (TSM) is 6-8 weeks. Now since 6 week's are gone already, you need to follow it up rigorously. Check with the SA. If they don't give you any date, call up the customer service asking them to escalate it to the Territory Sales Manager.

cancelling booking

hi all.. I have booked zest xms(petrol) last week, but after hearing poor millage frm frnd who is using it from last 2 months I am planning to cancel the booking...he said he s getting it around 10km/litr, may b aftr few services it may reach max 13.. please suggest me for next move..

Saw a Elite i20 in office yesterday, a brand new one in blue color. It looked awesome & felt like cancelling my Zest booking & going for it especially since TML & Concorde are giving me a run around
