Way abt Vin details u missed to answer that query !!!!!!

Month of manufacture is based on a letter in VIN number.
It is last fourth letter that indicates month of manufacture.
It can be from A to M. 'A' is January and M is December.
Mine was 'L' so thats November.

Thanks mohil. I got Vin with ELN series and some others have also got the same. Did you get ELN or another format, I am asking this because the SA has given this series to all people who are about to get delivery. ENL makes sense for November but not ELN is there any error.

MapMyIndia Navigation is displayed on the screen of Bolt. In the article, its mentioned that it is possible using an Android phone connected via USB cable.

Harish, Don't just hope, try the GPS with navimap app in Android and let us know. After all, you are our DIY guru.

TO check this, I installed the navimap app in my android. But, then I realized that my phone's micro USB port is not working . I was postponing replacing it. Now, I have a reason to seriously think replacing it.

Yep, Even I have booked XMS QJD and i have also got same ELN not ENL and checked with the SA, he given information that all the vehicles are coming with ELN not with ENL. So there must be some changes or error in giving VIN.
As I have gone through several threads we need to check form 22 which will be given by manufacturer.
And I think everybody getting same series who booked in Nov 2014.

Yes, we can hold payment until PDI as I have done. My loan has already been cleared by Bank of Baroda and they are waiting for my confirmation to issue DD. My dealer has called me 2-3 times now about payment but my standard reply every time is let the car come to your stockyard, I will inspect it and then only I will tell my bank to issue DD in your favor.

In Form 22" certificate (issued by the manufacturer), you will find the engine/chassis numbers on this certificate, while the month/year of manufacture are on the "road-worthiness" certificate (part of Form 22).

For new cars, the roadworthiness certificate is issued by the car’s manufacturer and can be obtained from the dealership. The certificate is valid for 15 years and is then renewable every five years.

The certificate is awarded after a car has undergone certain tests for “roadworthiness” – the extent to which a vehicle meets the standard requirements for safe driving on open roads.

I already tried with my windows phone.
Tried with one of my friends Android also.
The current infotainment system doesn't work with it.
But, there is a firmware update coming for the ICE which will enable this on the existing zests .
I'm just hoping, that update will come ASAP

Guys,
One Query.
The service lead suggested to perform a 3M exterior enrichment- surface refinement on the car as there were serveral minor scratches.
I approved and costed me 2921 including taxes.
How can I be sure if this has been done?
I dont see any great reduction in scratches.
There is only a bill which states that this has been done.

3M jobs are pretty expensive, so Tata service guys just duped you of the name. Also 3M jobs come with 2yr/5yr guarantee where you can visit them in intervals specified by them in the guarantee card and get touch up done. I have personal experience with them for under-body rust protection treatment.

Nope.. I have a almost 2yr old Hyundai Eon, so no thought of changing my vehicle now, want to drive it for couple of years more
Although, I have loved Zest from day 1. I follow all reviews, posts about Zest.

Also 3M jobs come with 2yr/5yr guarantee where you can visit them in intervals specified by them in the guarantee card and get touch up done. I have personal experience with them for under-body rust protection treatment.

He is saying Concorde is a reputed franchise of 3M and there are very less chances that they would have fooled me.
They have 3M professionals at these showrooms to perform 3M services.
Also Concorde has give me bill for 3M treatment.
For Exterior enrichment, there is no guarantee given according to him and no certificates.
But for under body treatment and other services, they provide guarantee.

So, now I just need to confirm that 3M treatment is properly done on my car or not. This I'm going to get done from a nearest 3M showroom.

Ok... hadn't checked about exterior enrichment, though I had checked their list of jobs. Cannot recall all of them now. Good luck with the next job..

Harish, What are the exterior treatments have you got done on your car and what things are you planning to get done. I am also planning to do some exterior treatments but are very much costlier. I actually want to get the paint protection film done on most of the parts so that scratches can be prevented.

Also, can you give me a good contact for 3M

From my experience, I would suggest go directly to 3M centers.
If you are in south Bangalore, there is one in HSR layout.

I've done only exterior enrichment.That too was not in my to-do list.
But due to few scratches (due to neighboring kids cycle race), I decided to do that. The Service lead suggested, it will remove minor scratches.
Personally I dont believe in doing these paint enrichment's for a new car.
IMO, Its just waste of money as I feel now after doing .

Dont you think, its better to get the block fully painted if at all a major scratch happens?

If you are in a coastal area, under body coating will be worth it.
I've read in other forum discussions that normally most vehicles comes with a layer of protective coating from factory itself.
It makes more sense for me to do it once that default coating starts fading due to rubbing on huge humps.
