Congrats on your purchase. Please stick to the manufacturer's specified service interval and take care of the car well in the initial run - in period as specified in the owners manual. Don't rev beyond 3000 RPM in any gears and drive smoothly during the run in period.

Thank you ZEST buddies for the replies.
I got nearly Rs.95,000/- for my old Nano.
By the way, I shall certainly follow the good advice for safe run during initial period. I will keep posting
Petrol engines usually have this tendency to stall at inclines because of lack of low end torque. Even Baleno is having the same issue where it seems to be stalling at signal lights!
First of all I feel your engine is new and has not reached its optimum performance zone, let it run for 1500km then you will find difference in power and mileage. Also my suggestion on inclines is please use the handbrake for optimum take off's which will help in prolonging the clutch life and also switch off the AC. Follow this till you complete running in by 1500km. Remember running in of a car also includes bedding of parts like clutch plates and brake pads too.
I have posted the relevant page from zest manual. Also being a new car we tend to be a bit extra cautious too.

Pull it to the max and get the handbrake adjusted in first service, till that time even if it develops a little play it's ok. All these things take time to bed and we as new get to understand the car as we keep piling kms. Zest is now being sold in South Africa that too with the same petrol and initial reviews say that they were surprised by the cars performance. Check the reviews

So I feel the core engineering and saftey are international standards because TATA in this day and age will not tarnish its image globally in personal vehicle segment.
