I currently own a Ritz Petrol, and am seriously considering zest petrol ..So I am curious, as majority ZEST owners are quoting somewhat similar FE figures !

Sorry for the delay in responding to your query. Since the delivery of my car (which was a year ago) I've been facing this sensor problem. The very first time I visited the service center, the person in charge witnessed and accepted that there was a coolant temperature sensor malfunction and he did some "jugaad". The issue got resolved for a couple of months. But the problem started all over again where the temperature reading was showing unstable in the gauge. It took me a few more visits (including the burning of fuel at my own cost and a test drive of the other zest to prove that the temperature reading remains stable for the whole journey, i.e. 3 bars) to convince the service people that there actually was a genuine problem. Just a few days back, I managed to get the faulty sensor replaced with a new one.

Apart from this i have also seen that the power is cut off and pick up is uneven when the a/c is on

Could you suggest some assoceries to make the car more interesting ?

The engine already is equipped with immobiliser so the car will not start with any other key.
XMS model dosent have reverse parking sensors go for that.
If you are a new driver 1100 kms is a very big strech. I will suggest get used to this car
first and then plan the trip

I find a very weird issue with my zest xms petrol
When a/c is on i am getting all kinds of outside road smell inside the car.
There is also a slight drop in pick up with a.c
I press the ice crystal button
I rarely use the button with arrow mark near the a.c

In xms model when we switch a.c on there are two buttons below it.
One is car symbol with arrow mark om left and another is crystal symbol in right side.
Which is the one you mentioned ?

I don't have a problem, but my parents are skeptical, listening to all the comments. I have to really convince them, but later if I am proved wrong, I will be in a very bad situation!! :P
