There are several complaints about them even here in this forum.
So far the best in Bangalore is Prerana Lal Bagh Road. Any idea about the approach of Prerana BTM layout?

I booked my Zest XT Quadrajet Sky Grey on April 20 at PRERANA MOTORS BTM LAY OUT.

The experience there was awesome!

The Sales Guy Sandeep is very helpful and has no hesitation in answering any of the questions.
He told the car is shipped from Pune today (30 april) and I demanded a PDI at Tumkur where the car will be unloaded from the truck.
The car will come to lal bagh for registration and will be delivered at BTM.

For my request the Sales Guy Sandeep was ready to take me to Tumkur in one of the test drive vehicle for PDI.
NOTE: Tumkur is almost 2 hour travel from btm. The dealer has already scored the rating here!!


Before doing the booking I have done test drive at all the showrooms in Bangalore.
I assure you that the best Tata Car dealer in Bangalore is PRERANA MOTORS .

I had a doubt regarding the MIB and the one who answered it was the manager of the Sales Guy. He told the issue is fixed in the newer models by reducing the gap in that area by TML.

I am expecting the PDI by May 5 and delivery by May 10.

Will post my complete experience here once the delivery is done with pictures.

The cost of the car for me came to 890000 including insurance, extended warranty and accessories.

If any of you have any doubts please feel free to ask.

Even I went to Prerana BTM and the guy Shabeer assisted me. I went on 2nd May. When I asked about the discounts he told May discounts hasn't come and they are expecting by 5th. But when I reached home aftera few hours he called me and told discounts have come and AMC (Gold) has come down from ~16.5 to less than 10 k. When I asked about the free accessories he told we will discuss at the office

Just noticed today that my engine immobiliser indication in the display comes on when I switch off the engine and take key out. Is this normal?? does the icon keep blinking when engine is off, key removed and all doors are locked after exiting vehicle??

Yes , that is perfectly normal. That is an indication for you and others that your car is equipped with Immobilizer and which is activated now.
BTW how long have you driven your Zest and how the experience is coming up. Sorry i came back to this forum after a long time.

I have had the vehicle for four months. Havent had long drives other than between Mysore-Bangalore stretch a few times, which is not much to speak of considering all the speed breakers . It has made city driving a lot fun. Just a few niggles like bonnet plastic getting faded quickly which was replaced by Tata Motors under warranty immediately and headlight focus which still needs to be sorted. Mileage is a bit on the lower side for city runs though need to check with Tata motors service team soon.

Good to hear your getting the car for 8.9 lakhs, when i have Inquired from Prerana Lal Bagh in May first week, they quoted me 9.03 lakhs with extended warranty and without Value Care Gold. can you let me know if there was an offer during your booking? or if you have bargained for this price? Thanks in advance.

Yeah,
The Extended Warranty INR 8200 has been waived off in May. Which means without any extra cost we will get 3 year warranty. Also earlier silver AMC was free for 2 years it seems and now that also extended for 3rd year. But if you need gold AMC, it will cost INR 16,500 for 3 years.

Hi DD, good to hear that you have booked the Zest. Please let me know the price they quoted and the final deal that you have made. This would be useful for me in finalising the deal and getting the best price as i am from Bangalore too.
Even i am planning to buy the same after thinking hard whether to go for XMS Revetron or XMS Disel, finally decided on the XMS Revetron.
I was talking to two dealers
1. Prerana Motors-Lalbagh Road : They offered me Std accessories for free and an rear parking sensor without Camera. Apart from this I am given the freedom to get my insurance done from Outside..final price = 672820 w/o insurance
2. KHT Motors, Indiranagar : Free Std accessories and rear parking sensor and can get the insurance done from outside. The price = Rs.672620 w/o insurance

heard few bad experiences with KHT in the previous pages, so need to decide the dealer.

Well my price is without Gold AMC and without Insurance, i am not opting for Gold AMC which is costing you Rs.16500 more and i am getting std accessories for free which means i am not paying Rs.2000. Push them for Free Std Accessories and a Parking sensor with camera or if anything else that you want to, they will agree for sure.
Also as you are opting for insurance from outside make sure you get that agreed form them either in a mail or by written as i have heard situations when delaers said NO during delivery.

KHT motors are quoting me Rs 6.97 Lakhs for a 'WHITE XMS Revetron' with free accessories, rear parking sensor without camera so i am getting an extra Rs.1500 discount over the price quoted by Prerana Motors and now i will finalize the deal if Prerana gives me less than what KHT have quoted. Let me try my luck :)

Yes, I demanded the sales guy that I need April/May 2015 manufactured unit and I got the same as he ordered directly from the plant.
Yes, I did the PDI at Tumkur where the car was unloaded from the truck.
I got the car last week and it is just awesome!!!
I took insurance outside from Bharati Xi at 24k bumper to bumper. I did not bargain any price with them. This was the price offered to me by Lalbagh unit and I just chose insurance from outside.

I didnot get any freebies other than a perfume bottle and air freshener at the time of delivery..
