Buddy In Vellore no FM is working so I not get a chance to check that one. But, While visiting Chennai, for changing the Channels I'm use phone number buttons. Anyhow I'll check & let you know buddy :)

Buddy Yesterday(19/7/2012) I came to Chennai with Dad, I Drove my Whitey from Vellore to Chennai. after crossing Kanchipuram I got a chance to check the FM. Due to lack of time I not checked it properly.

But, for changing channels we need to press the seek button for continuously for 2sec it buffering the stations & stops at the next station automatically.



Guys,

While travelling from Vellore to Chennai, near Appollo KH hospital-Melvizharam. A man upto 55years old riding his bike in centre lane & a person at the same age sitting in the rear. I'm doing 110Km/hr. I checked noone was at the junction & my right lane was free. So I blown my horn & started to proceed, Without any Indicator or signal that person came to my lane & tried to cross the road. I got shocked. Myself was driving & my Dad was in Co-driver seat & two of my dad friends in rear seat. Me & my dad were wearing seatbelt.

once he entered my lane I started to apply the brakes & pressed the Horn continously. He started to dance on my track with his bike.

To my surprise, My Whitey behaved very cleverly & stopped some meters before the bike without any issue, My car back seat occupants are about to fell down on the floor of the car. I don't know how Vista halted very quickly on that situation. Thank god none of the cars followed me.

once my Whitely halted I went near to that bike & started to scold that man. He not even spoke a single word & left the place.
But, today I got a chance to check my brakes at the speed 110km/hr.

Vista brakes are very sharp & stopping distance are very very low.

I'm very Happy with "My Whitey"

Yes, she has ABS. But no ABS badge on her. Is ABS works to stop the car in straghit lane?

Yes ABS helps the car to retain it's line when braked hard, it does not allow the wheels to get locked when braked hard.

Yes ABS helps the car to retain it's line when braked hard, it does not allow the wheels to get locked when braked hard.

Thanks for the Info Buddy. So, that means I've tested my ABS in a correct manner

I don't know why TATA not used ABS badge in Vista VX

Yes mate. I've booked the VX in grey. I've already got 2 cars in white and silver so decided to go for grey.

The visibility of the chrome is also a important reason for going with grey ;)

Discounts I got was 16k cash discount and there was some scratch card coupon in which I won a Apple iPod.

I'm taking delivery on the 5th of August as I'm busy with work and travelling till then.
