Steering fluid is leaking a bit-service center says replace Steering ?box-25k!
Engine going off occasionally at low speed-again-main injector fault-replace-10K
Does this sound right with your experience?

Are you checking at Sayar or Local mechanic?

Sorry I have no experience on it. But once I changed the some power steering box for previous car for some 12,000bucks I guess.

I dont think, it will cost that much for Vista. Anyhow, I'll check with my mechanic and let you know by this weekend.

If the Steering is box is fault, you can service it for some 7 to 9k. Otherwise, you can source a used one from pudupet.

Please check at Sayar also, we can get some idea also if you some local mechanic, please check with them also.

I know two mechanics, one is Sabeer, at Konnavattam(just next to Bus depot on NH service lane)

Another is Vishwanathan, first shop on right side in the street opposite to National Theater.

If you are going to visit them, let me know, I can inform to them.

BTW, Left Whity for service. Will be getting her by tomorrow and will update the service details once I get it.

so many TATA cars crossed and running on roads, but some people are not aware of those[;)]

In my Vista QJD, I am facing a problem with glow (heater) plug. I know that there are 4 plugs in Vista QJD. One by one, plugs got kaput and have been replacing all these in TATA Authorized Service center. In total, I have replaced 4 plugs in a span of 2 years. Today morning, engine malfunction indicator again was ON (Usually this is the sign of heater plug gone kaput).
What could be the reason?? All Tata Vista owners, please share your views.

Once I faced glow plug issue at 88K kms with my previous Black Indica DLS.

Mechanic advised to changed all the four as preventive maintenance, even-though one was Kaput.

So it is better to change all the 4, even though one or two is Kaput.

So far, I have not faced such situation with Whitey and I have no idea about it.

Hope our Guys will throw some light on this[:)]

BTW, what was the amount of each Glowplug?
