Good pictures. II could imagine the comfort that Vista must have offered to you during this drive. I do enjoy every time when I take out my Vista for a drive. But routine service by TATA service center is not good. TATA After sales must bounce back to win back customers.
Well said buddy, The comfort level is top and that helps me to drive more and more distances without any hesitation.
regarding service, As like you said, TASS is the only reason for most of people for not looking into TATA cars
Great Appu-your car looks new! The Vista is a nice car (with its faults). I have some oil in the intercooler-the TASS says its a turbo problem that needs change!!-thats a cool 20k!-any suggestions on a second opinion?
oil in the intercooler, must be due to the leak in the oil seal Turbo unit. First ask them to check the oil seal.
Turbo problem is the rare case.
In my car, a small crack in Turbo hose made to think about turbo unit change and that lead me to some sleepless nights.
i am also a vista tdi owner i think it is ok if you don't have any kind of black smoke or until any drop in pickup
+1 to joni, Is there any power loss or heavy smoke?

till couple of years back, Many times i had ride my bike to Munnar, even in evening/night too and have just a cup of tea at munnar town (Only 110 kms from home) and return to Home after 10-30mints. before 4 months done the same with car.started from home at 11pm and reached there around 2am. slept in the car. Returned in the morning after breakfast.
That is why we like minded people are here

@AppU - Any place that you know around Chennai where headlight focussing can be done. The throw from my Vista's headlight is not great. I had a close call on the ECR yesterday when there was a wooden log in the middle of the road and did not observe it until I was close and somehow managed to stop the car. I was returning at 12:00 AM in the night!!
Actually it is a very easy job. we can do it manually.
