Appu - What is the difference, rather advantage of Dynaedge over the regular ones or Bosch?

Actually, the main advantage of Dynaedge wipers are,

1. It is frame less, so the movement of wipers across the windshield is very free and it works very efficient to clean the full windshield.
2. The precision-tensioned mono steel spring applies uniform pressure along the entire blade length providing consistent wiping performance across the windshield.

We can clearly see the difference when we are using it.

Hi Guys,

Took a TD of the new Vista VX Tech.

Looks like TATA has mastered in the field of ruining stuff. They have ruined the Vista further.

The new Vista VX model comes with Manza dashboard. 6.5" touchscreen player system and navigation system has been added.

Guess what they have removed. The comfy vista seats have been removed and they have been replaced with TATA Indica seats. Yes I mean Indica seats. Horrible!

Electric ORVMs are removed and back to manual. I drove VX model. Electric A/C control knobs removed and back to old style knobs. Very bad.

And guess what, height adjustable driver seat removed! Tilt steering is retained though. And after all this, price has been increased to 6.2 lacs ex-showroom Hyderabad. A discount of 20K is being offered. Now I would like to know this: Why increase the price and offer a discount?

Seriously TATA has screwed up a good car big time. No more Vista for me.

I don't know, what TATA trying to do

whether the current Vista VX is discontinued? I feel the current Vista VX have lots of Goodies with reasonable price.

I think, they migrated all the goodies of current Vista VX to Falcon products

When you say the difference is evident, that is compared with the outgoing used wipers right? How would it be when compared with a Brand New OE Wipers? I understand you won't get a chance to check it that way, yet, just want to understand from your perspective as you are using it.

A small update,

Left my Whity for water wash after long time. After the bath, I felt Whity became very bright.And done Wheel alignment(Whity completed 5K kms with new Tyres and Alloys)

I'm not sure, that everyone is aware of Vista's Huge glove box and Tray under the Co-Driver seat. So thought of sharing some pics of it.

When you say the difference is evident, that is compared with the outgoing used wipers right? How would it be when compared with a Brand New OE Wipers? I understand you won't get a chance to check it that way, yet, just want to understand from your perspective as you are using it.

In the Below pic, you can see, how the Wiper blade bends. When we are using these wiper blades. It gets jell with Windshield. so the cleaning is far better than normal wiper.


And yes, I compared with used stock wipers. If I compare with Brand New OE Wipers. I may say that, both producing the same kind of efficiency. But, still I like the way Dynaedge wipers cleans the Windshield.

I hope you know that, I even replaced my Rear wiper blade to Aero wiper blade

Yes current Vista is discontinued including the D90 models. What TATA could have simply done is replace the current vista with driver aligned dashboard.

The most confusing fact is Vista tech price is hiked by 25K approx. But the salesman is telling me that they are offering 20K. What is the whole point?

Is they hiked 25K for Manza dashboard and Touch info systems? then why they stripped Electric ORVM's, Proper Vista seats, Electric A/C controls

Manza also has the same. In Manza, once you reach a speed of 160 or above Speed Limit indicator glows. No audio warnings yet. I have Tata Manza VX model and if I ugrade the navigation software to 8.1 (I have 8.0), I'll have audio-visual warning in speeds of 160 and above.

Hope, Vista will also work in the same manner.

Painful part is, Owner's Manual doesn't talk about Speed Lmit indicator at all and hence what I have written is what I have heard from many people. I myself have reached 150 max being a safe driver and hence I have no first-hand experience!

Painful part is, Owner's Manual doesn't talk about Speed Lmit indicator at all and hence what I have written is what I have heard from many people. I myself have reached 150 max being a safe driver and hence I have no first-hand experience!

The light glows if you touch 155, I have tested it.

Sambit, be careful in touching high speeds of 150 kmph during run in period.

I too saw that Speed limit light glows when we Switch ON the ignition and I too had a same doubt about it.

I touched 150Kmph few mins, never tried beyond that. As like Anushman and Sambit said. I guess, It will glow beyond 155Kmph.

But, without Audio config, we may not able to notice it. But, It is really a good feature by considering the safety on Indian Roads

True. I don't think anybody doing over 155 will be looking in the console to see the speed limit icon glow. Atleast I don't.

In UAE where the roads were broad and free of potholes, the taxis had the speed limit warning in the form of chimes that get activated once they cross 120 KMPH. The frequency of the chimes increase thereafter proportionally to the increase in speed.

I think we should have a audio warning for more than 100 kmph, (which is 20 kmph more than the legal speed limits here), to make it safe to a certain extend.
