Dude understand, if the van would had space then ][Dude Tata would have definitely brought out the van with CR4 engine,now there's no space to put that engine,so there are CNG plans going on. .

I recently talked to Mr Rajesh Head of UV dept. Sales Basudev Auto Hazaribagh, regarding this matter, he confirmed that 25 kmpl giving cr4 engine is coming in Venture perhaps next year,according to him tata are testing cr4 engine in Venture.

Tell your friends not to waste their valuable time and tell them to check out Sumo Gold,its worth buying..

Some of them are in tour and travel industry, they prefer Venture kind of vehicle over Sumo.Few friends have already got Venture and are happy with the product.

Actually its the other way round,first the Pickup came with TDi engine called as super ace 1ton,they made created a van with that truck.

Super Ace is super flop like Venture

Can you dig out more information about that?

Some of them are in tour and travel industry, they prefer Venture kind of vehicle over Sumo.Few friends have already got Venture and are happy with the product.

Well i don't see more of them in a city like Bangalore,hope BS3 is the killer for it.

Some decisions defy easy answers-Tata launches a new product in 2011 with a BS3 engine! Then it sells it in major metros-how? well some speculation on the methods
Now i hope they get the CR4 in for the Auto expo-saw a couple in the flesh-good looking-but finish is v poor!-hope the V2 version comes in the Auto expo!

The current vehicle possess V2 engine

Then it sells it in major metros-how?

Tata dealers take an extra amount from its customers and bribe the RTO guys to run in the city.

Actually the answer is simple:
1.Either Tata saw that most customers would come from tier 2/3 cities, so they decided to launch it with tried and tested Indica turbo BS iii engine.
2. Or the cr4 engine was not properly tested for them to launch it at the beggining.

Absolutely we are all eagerly waiting for the cr4,btw I have heard that Tata have dropped prices of Venture by 60,000, can anybody confirm, or these are just year end discounts, I just hope this news is true.

Tata Motors is offering a discount of Rs.27,500 + Exchange Bonus (Rs.40,000) + Down payment scheme at Rs.50,000 for Venture. This is applicable for December 2011.

Hello folks anybody have some news for BS4 venture?
What's the reason behind the carelessness of Tata for this vehicle?What happened to the investment made on this?
I have not seen any upgrades on the vehicle except for the front disc brakes.

It seems that curently they are putting their entire energy on Aria, once it settles down to some decent no.s in terms of sale only then they will concentrate on Venture.Alas another great product marred by poor Tata marketing, pricing and lack of bs4 version with nil safety features.Damn you Tata.

Tata recently displayed export version of Super Ace upon which Venture is based, it had cr4 engine and also Airbags+Abs, so perhaps Venture cr4 is also ready with these much needed safety features, because any sane person will like to own a bonnetles van like venture with airbags.

Good news,So the CR4 is from Indica eV2(70HP) right??But i feel its under powered,And by chance if it comes into sales here, it will come to my home.

The source is Tata media press release.First go to Tata Motors home page then click press relese and then click " Tata unveils new vehicles at auto expo" there at the end you will see this info about left hand drive Super Ace with bs4 engine.

Yes its the same 25 kmpl giving cr4 engine.

Absolutely, by not launching the cr4 in Venture TATA are losing a huge market base.I don't know why TATA always delays the launch of its products?
