Today I did a test drive on petrol xzo , it's a nice car for first time car buyers but not for the ones who has experience behind the wheel.

Car looks OK for me not Wow, I feel everything small, I.e steering, instrument cluster, cabin space etc. Can say it is a 4.5 seater, it will not accommodate 5 adults.

I read in some reviews that it contains balancer shaft to minimize the vibrations, but in idle state the gear rod remembers me Prabu deva.

TIGOR didn't met my expectations. Now my wait started for NEXON.

Guy's this is my personal opinion and no offense to TIGOR lover's /buyers.

Buddy, I feel it is viable for 1st time buyers as well as for those who want a simple city commuter without keeping too high hopes. It is simple and serves its purpose well I feel.

IC is same as Tiago and cabin space isn't all that bad. I sat today in a display car and found the steering to be good enough. However, I feel, the driver's seat adjustment range could have been better and the backrest adjustment lever felt a bit hard.

I read in some reviews that it contains balancer shaft to minimize the vibrations, but in idle state the gear rod remembers me Prabu deva.
When I drove the XZO petrol, the very first thing I checked was the gear vibrations and believe me the vibrations are very well controlled. In fact I mentioned the same in my views of TD of Petrol XZO.

"Gear Vibrations are very very less in petrol version."

Well accepted. But let me suggest you, in case, you refer it to anyone i.e family or friends, do mention to them, its a simple car made to fulfill A-B commute in city. If I take my own example, I own a City Ivtec, and now I'll be owning a Tigor, so, both my cars have different purpose and my expectations with them will surely be different. I wouldn't say that the interiors of Tigor aren't as well finished as a Jap Honda. In its own individual space, Tigor looks reasonably well featured and reasonably priced in terms of petrol variant.

Guy's this is my personal opinion and no offense to TIGOR lover's /buyers.
Its always nice to listen to other's views about a product and understand one's perception of a product. No product can ever satisfy everyone.[:)]

My Car's Update: As per the confirmation of today evening, my car is expected to land here on Thursday. Waiting to do the PDI.

In my tenure of owning various cars over the decades, haven't ever faced such situations by god's grace so far. Here are couple of threads in our forum:

Agree with you Akash, I will recommend this car for first time buyers.

Honestly, till date I haven’t sat in TIAGO, and my inner fellow is comparing every aspect with my existing Fiesta (tough I know this comparison is not fair) but my search for new car is to replace Fiesta. But it’s truly my perception.

During my early days in career (12 to 15 yrs ago), I used to travel in office cabs which are TATA Indica always in co driver’s seat and used to wonder the way gear lever used to dance. Yesterday during my test drive, my memories are way back to Indica days. I felt the vibration even in steering when in idle. May be the test drive car has some issue (its only 75 KM driven).

During the test drive my wife and 7 yr old son were sitting in rear seat, I drove on kacha road and was asking my wife about on how she feels the road bumps, suddenly my son replied that he feels the drive as in my old Hyundai i10 (I feel i10 has worst suspension).

After TIGOR test drive, wife and son recommends/demands me for ZEST.
