Congratulations Akash! So finally you chose to leave the dilemma behind, made up your mind, took a stand and made your decision. Kudos, old chap - it takes real conviction to leave a trusted brand and opt for a new (and relatively untested) one. I'm sure your decision is justified & your family members will come round in the end!
Looking forward to the detailed review.
Shashanka Sir, I am still not that "old" and yet to get married
. Sir, I had my fair share of disagreements and arguments about my choice but I was convinced of my decision. I had a weak moment too but gathered myself. Finally, with some knowledge of cars, I knew, based on my needs, Tigor top end fits well. Tigor might be a risky choice for my family but not for me. I kept suggesting about cars to my buddies here so taking the correct decision in my own case was much important. After-all, someone has to take the first step and adopt a new car. I am absolutely clear about my choice and seeing the support of my buddies here for my choice, I am happy that I was right in the end.
Congrats Akash. Wishing you happy miles with the Styleback.
Thanks a lot bud.
Aspire diesel is giving tough fight to Tigor diesel topend. Someone looking at the price list and features may feel Tigor diesel is overpriced.
Biggest drawback is the engine capacity itself in Tigor. Rest are just one's opinions.
But petrol seems priced more realistically. What about comparison with Aspire petrol ?
I will make sure of this. But petrol Aspire gets a choice of bigger engine, AT and more airbags than a petrol Tigor.
Or whether the prices hiked for other cars after April 1 ?
In case of Tigor, till today, prices are same as on day of launch atleast in Delhi/NCR.
If my budget is strictly at 6 lakhs, have to satisfy with Tigor Petrol XT (may be more than 6, 6 - 6.10) or to go for Tiago XZ petrol with alloys. Confused.
I would say go for the Tiago with airbags. Rest all features aside, XT Tigor does
not have airbags which is the biggest drawback. At least a driver's airbag should be there in it.
How did you get the VIN at the time of booking Buddy?
I was simply lucky. 1st Silver XZO booked from Noida dealer. Now its just about the PDI. On a lighter note, When a huge looking man with a ponytail sits to negotiate, at times, its the man's win only.
Regards
Akash
